If we trade a 2nd for Earl Thomas for 1 year, why wouldn't we have just kept Marcus Peters?

Players are going want to win Super Bowls with Patrick Mahomes II he is their meal ticket to success.

Rams this year?

Tried to get Mack too, and would have done it for a 1 year rental.

The rams traded for Watkins last year and let him walk didn't they?

As did the Patriots with Brandin Cooks (they did trade him, so maybe that doesn't count).

The Seahawks have engaged in trade talks with teams, including the Cowboys, about Thomas, but the Kansas City Chiefs have emerged as a candidate if a deal is made before the Oct. 30 trade deadline, sources said. Thomas sat out training camp and also irritated the Seahawks when he appealed personally to Cowboys coach Jason Garrett to trade for him after a Week 16 game in Dallas.

So we inherit the drama from Seattle for a year? The only reason there is drama is because he is pissed about not being given a contract extension. Hard to see that changing at a different location with the same contract situation.

ROFL well obviously not.

I was askingwhat you thought about it if he was extended though.

Not sure I'm in.

I think he's a great player with the horses around him, but I don't think we hove the horses.

Start planning that parade down Main Street if this happens

I would guess Mahomes’ performance has far exceeded expectations in the front office.

As cool as this would be on paper, I believe it to be an incredibly stupid move.

He immediately makes Scandrick, Fuller and Nelson better.

Understandable.

If berry were to ever get back on the field we might be lights out for a couple years though
