We've played 1 team at home that has a legitimately threatening offense, and that was the Chargers without Gordon and Allen. This notion that we play better defense at home is ridiculous.

The DB confidence is at ZERO because they have finally bottomed out. Knowing your fan base "knows" you suck, knowing your opponents "know that you suck" and knowing that all of the NFL fan base and national sports media "knows" you suck and even your own DC "knows" you suck makes it very difficult to have any type of confidence to improve. All we can do is hope our DB's can pull a "RUDY" in these playoff games.:D:D: Won't happen though.:shake:

I think people are looking at the Cincy 45-10 game when they still had Dalton and AJ Green. That’s where the “better at home” narrative came from. Cincy was scoring nearly 30ppg heading into that matchup that actually got flexed into SNF because they were both “playoff contenders.”

They do. If not no other reason, it’s as simple as the defense being able to time up the silent count. It’s easier to rush the passer at home under those conditions. The secondary is ass wherever they go, sure.
