PUP is 6 weeks to start season.

Maybe they do that and leave him inactive for the last 4-6 weeks of his recovery.

Uh.... Yes?

Yes.

I think Kaepernick is more interested in being an "activist" rather than playing football.

If you had a partial meniscectomy, you might be able to play sports in about 4 to 6 weeks. If you had meniscus repair, it may be 3 to 6 months before you can play sports. This care sheet gives you a general idea about how long it will take for you to recover. But each person recovers at a different pace

Looks like he might have ripped the entire ****ing meniscus. Like I said I was sprinting after 3 weeks. I never made cuts though, as I’m not an athlete and didn’t want to **** it up again.

Speaks is injured....my favorite player....how will we ever recover.

It's not that they're bad. It's that we don't know what they are. Granted you won't know until you find out, but neither have ever taken an NFL regular season snap.

This probably isn't the year to have to find out.

In terms of being a backup, Moore doesn’t really suck that bad at all. This has much more to do with experience than anything.

I get it, it is probably best to get a veteran QB behind Mahomes just in case because the other 2 guys probably aren't up to it.

That's no big deal. Speaks never makes cuts either. Just kind of stops then starts up again.

I've always liked Moore, but that may be as much about remembering him torching Mizzou in the Sun Bowl as anything.

gblowfish 08-26-2019 10:59 AM

I remember Moore playing for the Dolphins. He wasn't very good. Well, Henne came from the Dolphins too, so maybe it's just replacing one mediocre QB with another. Wonder if SF would consider a trade for their guy who backed up Jimmy G when we hurt him last year? We could send them Speaks and Carlos Hyde! Maybe we could get Eli from the Giants since he's on the outs there anyway.... Oh well, looks like Moore is the guy. Better get his nose in a playbook asap. We get the Raiders and Vontaze Burfict in week two. I think the Raiders got him specifically to try to kill Mahomie.

He got hurt in a game. I don't think he's eligible for the PUP.

I think you get 2 more weeks to make a decision so they might try that.

Speaks will gain at least 40 lbs during his recovery.
