Franchise running backs don’t grow on trees. Sign em Brett!

Just draft a ****ing RB to compliment Williams.

Agreed. We need a guy on the sideline telling Williams he's beautiful and so very talented.

We are fine with him at RB. Shut up about bringing in another, and for pete's sake don't even mention that Kareem guy again.

We are set right now. If it ain't broke and got us to our first SB appearance and win in 50 years, then DON'T FIX IT.

Damian Williams is more than enough when he plays at playoff levels:

102 touches for 560 yards and 10 TDs and 1 fumble (0 lost). In 5 games. Get that DW for a season and you have a great player.

He had one bad game against the Titans but otherwise was money.

I’ve always liked DW and though last year was a bit of a lost season. For some reason Andy/Veach don’t seem to agree (witness drafting a RB and picking up McCoy last year) so there’s something to it but I think that barring industry and splitting time DW is going off this coming season.

TomBarndtsTwin 04-20-2020 12:47 PM

DW does seem to always shine in the post-season.

I don't know if that is just coincidence? Or cause he's fresher, due to more limited snaps? Or maybe because other teams defenses spend so much time focusing on our other weapons, DW kind of becomes the forgotten man and gets a lot of extra opportunities to shine? I don't know.

We do need to upgrade our running game for the regular season, though. I do like DW, but he's proven he can't carry the full load.

That said, Fournette is most definitely not the answer to this situation. We don't need yet another injury prone back, who also happens to be a malcontent. Hard pass.

Setsuna 04-20-2020 12:51 PM

If yall need warm bodies with experience then sign him. He'll keep his mouth shut if you're winning. Although he might cost you some personal fouls once in a while.

ShowtimeSBMVP 04-20-2020 12:57 PM

Just say no. I would rather draft a RB in first round that fits the chiefs system.

Williams, who will be 28 years old to start the season, has 1,200 yards and 12 TD's in SIX NFL SEASONS.

He was only available for six regular season games last year. He went undrafted out of Oklahoma because he was injured there, as well. There is NO WAY the Chiefs should enter the 2020 season with him as their Feature Back.

"Highlight video". Good grief.

There it is.

Megatron96 04-20-2020 01:01 PM

Not good enough to warrant the trade. Doesn't know the system, and hasn't shown the ability to learn a new system quickly. Next.

Or maybe u could trust THE STATS???? Just an idea :thumb:

Like YPC for instance is usually a good one for Running backs

Fournette: 4.3
D. Williams: 4.4

There goes your idea :thumb:

You wanna try something with a Jacksonville guy?

They're releasing Marqise Lee, he might be worth a look if he's super cheap.

Good god, you really are a ****ing moron.

First of all, learn to speak English.

Second, Arizona cut HB because of injury issues, not because they didn't like him.

You might be the dumbest poster on this forum today and that's saying something.

Congrats!

BWAHAHAHA yeah, they let go of a young stud safety FOR NOTHING because of "injuries" and not because he was unhappy with losing and aired that out?...ok you pathetic loser ROFL

My apologies, I've posted this way too many times to count but Williams will be 28 to start the season, has never been healthy for a full 16 game season in more than six years in the NFL and has 1,200 yards and 12 TD's total during that time.

Kareem Hunt had 1,300+ rushing yards and 8 TD's during his rookie season alone.

Talent isn't the issue with Williams, it's that he's constantly injured, going back to his days at OU, making him completely unreliable. Add to that, there's not a single back behind him on this roster that puts any fear in opposing defenses and Defensive Coordinators.

He'd cost 12m over two seasons and if he's a stud we use the tag like the Titans have with Henry. If Henry isn't sitting out then I doubt Fournette would tbh.

Damien Williams 7 total TD’s 7.1 yds/reception
Fournette 3 total TD’s 6.9 yds/reception

Really thought you would have looked this stuff up before boasting about your stupidity
