Hasn't Brady sucked against us with or without Gronk the last couple years? He's 43 years old and I know ESPN is starving for content, but who gives a **** about Gronk coming back. The Bucs will be a better team and probably make the playoffs, but we saw all of this hype with Cleveland last year and turned out to be a big shit burger.

If they want to go up against us with Pat in year 3 (starting), Mecole is gonna be a much bigger deal, another TE that isn't a broke dick added to go with Kelce, and the defense continues to keep getting better....let's line em up and watch that curb stomping!

I said last year we wouldn't lose another game after the Tennessee fluke and we didn't. I don't know who we will lose to again, but it'll happen, maybe 🤷🏾*♂️

I'll give you that. The only thing Witten ever did better than Tony was run block. Tony had the hands, route-running, football IQ, etc. over any TE I've ever seen in my lifetime. If he still has some burst and can still take a hit, I'd sign him. Hell, Antonio Gates and Ben Watson are still playing and they can't run for shit.

Yea I don’t know if he can take a hit. The one thing about Tony tho is that his nutrition and health has always been top notch. One year deal 1 Mil. He deserves that ring. After what Carl and the shit he had at QB he deserves to be rewarded with Reid and Mahomes

I will say that last season he appeared to be in great shape, lean but still had plenty of muscle, almost as if he could suit up.

I’d take Tony G over Ryan ****ing Hunter. We need a third TE anyways. It’s a really easy choice. Tony G or Deon Yelder?

I mean it’s 2020, crazier things have happened then if Tony G were to return

Uh, we just won a ring, and we are bringing back 20 out of 22 starters from last season. And last season we had both Shady and Suggs on the team. You know, the team that just won SB LIV. Explain to me why we can't get another ring with Tony?

Red Dawg 04-21-2020 05:25 PM

We play the Bucs so it will be our chan chance to shut up Brady loving bundle of stickss forever.

Tony would benefit... Chiefs do it without him

That wasn't the question.
And while I agree that the Chiefs can win another SB without Tony, the question really is "is Tony a better option at TE2 or TE3 than who we ran with last season?" I don't think there's any question, IMO. Tony would be a huge upgrade over Yelder/Bell. And likely for peanuts.

The media’s (over)reaction seems to think that this will be the equivalent of Brady/Gronk in their primes.

Instead it will be a broke dick 43 year old QB and a broke dick 31 year old TE who has been out of football for a year and who has lost a ton of the muscle mass that made him a physically dominating player.

Good luck with that.

The Buccaneers aren't making the playoffs, let alone a Superbowl. This roster is still miles away from being good.

Yesterday/today Gronk passed his physical and weighed in at 260 lbs. Don't think he lost as much muscle as you think.

I fear zero teams that are decisively worse than the Chiefs at HC and QB. The Buccaneers fall into that category.
