We've known for MONTHS that Jack Easterby was not only going to be part of the organization but part of the team hiring the GM. Surely Brett knew this too. This is PRECISELY why some of us have been writing off the Texans HC job since the day BOB was fired. |
There is growing buzz that Watson will demand a trade.

Texans would never trade him but if they did, the bidding war between the 49ers, Bears, and Washington would be crazy.
|
Houston trade Watson and hire Josh Mcdaniels and call it a day.
|
Shit someone beat me to it.
I think this is going to happen |

What HC is going to want to come to Houston and turn around and trade Watson?
It’s not happening. At least not now. |
So four months ago Watson signed a huge extension through 2025 for a ton of money. Since then all that's really happened is O'Brien was fired (would think good thing), and a GM hired (also probably beats no GM)...and he's demanding a trade? Don't get it. Do blame him.

I feel like Sean Payton would be at the front of the lien trying any way possible to make this trade happen.
Got the team, need a QB. Vikings would be so good for him too but they can’t get out of Kirk’s awful contract until 2022 |
I feel like an under the radar team would be the Dolphins. They have the picks and a solid team already in place.
