They were showing in-game highlights, as they have done for multiple games throughout the evening. This is what normal sports broadcasts do. I'd rather see DeGrom highlights in between pitches than listen to Rex Hudler ramble on about nothing.

After Mondesi made that great play on the short hop, I noticed he stretched out his arm a big. Hopefully just a twinge or something.

It's amazing how many are agonizing over replays on twitter. Twitter is (optimistically) speculating that he tweaked his ankle on the throw.

Love Mondi and his talent but what a brokedick.

At this point, the Royals gotta be thinking about pulling that long term extension talk off the table. You can’t commit Gordo/Salvy type money ($15-20 mil. per) to a guy that can’t stay on the field.

What a waste of talent.
