I wouldn’t trade him for any teams first round draft pick from now til eternity. We drafted a God of a quarterback. Maybe one day your team will draft a quarterback that’s slightly above meh.

I thought teams that made the playoffs weren't in position to draft QBOTF talent. Some here were saying that back in the day. Basically that Smith was just good enough to keep us from drafting a QBOTF.

Nope. If you have a good GM and good scouts/evaluators you're ALWAYS in position to draft good players...

If the Dolphins get Watson with no time missed they are the 2nd best team in the AFC. Absolutely loaded roster.

Waddle, Parker, Gisecki, Fuller, solid OL and a good defense

Considering that the Panthers already traded for Darnold it would say a lot about him if they have already given up on him and are willing to trade even more picks for Watson.

Was kind of hoping Watson would go to the Donks.

I’m really curious what the compensation will be for him. This is such a weird situation. I don’t see how a GM could feel comfortable giving up much at all.
