Brown has been beaten like a drum pretty regularly when he has gone up against speed rushers. I just have a hard time seeing how it will get any better. That is not acceptable. I'm not saying the trade was a bad thing considering what was available. Still, I think we need to try and improve that position next year.

Bolton and Gay are a nice duo. I’d like a low cost competent backer to be the 3rd guy while we use a high draft pick to get a good safety that can competently cover TE’s

This is a great example of why PFF is garbage, at least for olinemen.

Whoever posted those numbers and sourced PFF is wrong. This is the current PFF grades on the season.

Love the tackles he put on Henry

I think obviously a healthy Trent Williams would have been better than what we got, but that doesn't seem to be going well for the 9ers. Sometimes the best deals are the ones taht don't get made.

LMAO Got shat on for wanting nothing to do with giving Williams that ridiculous contract. He hasn't played a full season for almost a ****ing decade. Glad he decided to stay in SF.

Thanks, Nick you did a great job, better than your veteran predecessor. Now go back to the bench.

Sad, but true. Hitchens just "knows the system better".

If he sends him back to the bench, he needs to be canned. The media needs to call him out on this like Sorensen. Geez

Hitch played mostly Will when he was in Dallas, IIRC.

But he’s lost a step since then so it’s hard to know if he could still manage it.

But yeah, they should absolutely try.

well, maybe losing a step would work OK for Hitch, since he's constantly overrunning the gaps now.....

No wonder Patrick looks lost out there at times. The coaches can't even put the best players on the field! I'll bet Gore rides the pine when Clyde comes back too. This is absurd! :banghead:

he's definitely a bright spot on that defense
