I guess the hardest thing to accept about the NFL being fixed is why would some owners/teams agree to be stooges for decades? I suppose if the money is that good but Mark Davis, for example, is a fan in the owner chair. The money is irrelevant to him. He wants to win. And if it was fixed for decades, Al Davis would have leaked that faster than the Raodrunner.

The last 2 Chiefs playoff games looked staged as **** to be honest. Friday night lights level bullshit

How do you figure with the game yesterday?

KC only had 2 penalties against them... just 2 and the refs easily missed what most would say was an easy facemask penalty on one of those last drives.

Bengals only had 4 penalties against them.

Six total penalties, so they were letting them play. Not suggesting that calls were not missed, I'm sure they were on both sides - same as most weeks. But, what was possibly scripted yesterday with so few penalties?

Sounds to me like you're one of those that just won't accept a loss. I mean, have you ever walked away from a Chiefs' win saying "wow, the refs really screwed the other team in our favor" or are all wins by KC just flat out 100% legit?

Sorry I was there with a view of everything. Nothing else explains Mahomes play in the wind half other than Johnny football taking over at QB.

Like most, I don't know how you explain the 2H... although according to the stats they showed, it was similar to what KC did in the 2H a few weeks ago.

I thought Patrick might have had his bell rung quite honestly, he just didn't look right with some of those passes and the way he was running around.

Bengals went from zone to man drop 8 in the second half and the offense couldn't adjust.

They could have, but it would have required running the ball. A concept that evidently Andy couldn't grasp. Very strange 2nd half. It reminded me a lot of the Colts game several years ago. A good first half, then the ugliest thing I have seen in years 2nd half.

I can see the Bengals as the perfect flawed patsy for a home Super Bowl win.

The coaching staff is only capable of making adjustments at half time. They don’t make adjustments during the game. Yesterday they adjusted themselves at half to play themselves out of the playoffs.

I'd say, Mahomes just dancing around, avoiding sacks to buy time and lose yards was really weird. Not even throwing the ball away...but running INTO sacks.

Andy Reid, refusing to run at those COVER 8 defenses...

Yeah, at first I thought they were trying to kill clock with the idea they could score at will and not give CIN much time on the clock to score.

Covid disappears and the overtime rules are now looking right all along. This is not a bad game ya got here

They are content with a seat at the table.

Know many millionaires/billionaires that are just content?

They don’t have a choice in this case. You follow the good ol boy rules if you want to be an owner in the NFL. That’s why they only let certain people in.
