Well whatever they did differently obviously we did not adjust and it seemed we were trying to pound a square peg into a round hole along with bad decisions from PM.

The Bills OT doesn't cause Reid to call a fake running play on 1st and goal. You're trying to consume time. The only play is a run on first down, second down, third down, and probably fourth down.

It was a carbon copy of the Week 17 game with the roles reversed and Andy just goofed the play call completely. Mahomes scrambling for a loss didn't help, but if it is a run then everything is going forward and worst case we go up 4 with 1:30 left. Maybe that's too much time for Burrow but the alt was awful.

That last drive I think was a reaction to scoring I quickly initially against Buffalo (Hill 60 yard td)

I wonder if something happened between Mahomes and Andy Reid after that failed play to end the first half.

Andy bypassed a FG at the urging of Mahomes, trusting him to make the right decision there and he didn’t.

When Tracy Wolfson reported that Andy told her the play call there was to be a pass immediately in the end zone… that was a rare moment when Andy didn’t give his standard “I am to blame” answer when covering for his players’ mistakes.

Mahomes played like a QB with zero confidence in the second half… have to think that final play of the first half had a lingering impact.

I think Patrick was concussed and just didn't look right at all. There was a lot of contact and holding on both sides of the ball; one on Pringle slowed him enough that it caused an incompletion.

If you have told me that the defense gives up 24 points in regulation at the start of this game, i would have said the Chiefs win by at least 10. Something happened and the team just was flat in the second half.

That was kind of my take. Mahomes didn't recover from getting chewed out by Reid and was tentative the whole second half. Just ****ing bizarre.
