I have really grown to hate the 3-4. The NT position to me has gone the way of the dinosaur. You get a huge dude who can’t be athletic enough and big enough to handle taking on double teams every play?

I just don’t like it. I want 4 guys with excellent athleticism. Not space eaters.

And don’t get me started on the OLB’s. Good God

I would guess Jones goes back to the tech he played in 2018/2019 when he got like 15 sacks.

I guess Saunders would be the NT as of now, but the actual answer probably isn’t on the roster (if we do make the switch).

As an old LBer, more LBs = more better. But without at solid NT, you're wasting Jones unless you move him around like Donald. Saunders has the bulk, but there's really no one behind him except some PS guys.

Man, what a great hire this was. He has taken our DL with the addition of Dunlap, and Furious George and turned all the players we had already into a very elite DL. It’s night, and day from Daly. Also Daly seems to be much better as the LB coach. I think this hire could be one of the things that gets us another ring this year. Every snap the DL looks shot out of a cannon.

As a former LB, your opinion means practically nothing.

Running a 3-4 would be stupid as ****, 4-3 personnel is cheaper and is the way to go with the way our team is built.
