I fully expect the Chiefs to add a better receiving back too whether it be McKinnon, another FA, or a draft pick.

Lol he's gonna be the best back we've had since Kareem imo. All the negative comments on twitter were also SAID ABOUT JAMES CONNER when he left the Steelers for Zona..and look how he did? Same folks also said Fournette was a "bust" when he was cut from the JAGS!!. Rojo is 24 years old vet who has had 1000 yard seasons and has the weight, tackle breaking ability and speed that this offense has lacked for years. So I very much welcome the young man. Anyone thinking he's a "camp body" or merely a "Williams replacement" is in for a big surprise Imo...especially behind this line :D .

I love how some of you tell us all to trust Veach and Reid when they trade freaking Tyreek Hill, but then they sign a RB you don’t particularly care for and you call them out.

They either know what they’re doing or they don’t, you can’t have it both ways. Personally, I’ve been very impressed every time I’ve seen Jones and agree with a previous post that said Arians is likely the issue. Reid has been coaching in the NFL for 30 years. I’m pretty sure he knows exactly what he’s looking for in a RB and literally any back that has played under him has always had some of their best years.

Good signing.

Probably structured like Juju's contract

It's almost like some of you didn't see Darrel Williams do the same shit, and more often.

200 more receiving yards on almost the same amount of catches, 4X the TD's and Andy trusted him in key situations.

I feel like McKinnon was kept in a box for a reason, 3-4 games is what his body has in him. Replace him, it was was nice little run. It really was.

Jones career YPC: 4.5

Williams career YPC: 3.8

Jones is easily the better runner.

Darrel Williams is a dog shit runner. He's a better pass catcher, no doubt.

I'm looking at both Williams and Jones and then looking at those 4 7th round picks thinking take a shot on someone.

This is where EB steps in and brings the dog out of Jones.

Honestly, I’m not a fan of MVS or Jones but am willing to wait and see how it works out. Andy and Veach have earned the benefit of the doubt.

It just seems like MVS is a Hardman close with a bigger frame and Jones isn’t exciting at all. Both seem stupid.

I see people post that Jones had 1000 yard seasons but the stats I see don't bare that out. I'm not pooping on the signing but he's never rushed for 1000 yards in the NFL. I trust Andy will be able to get the best out of Jones but let's get the facts straight.

Watch Jones then watch Williams. Jones is clearly the more talented back.

I’d rather have Williams back.

Hope I’m wrong.

1000 yards from scrimmage. Including receptions.

Something CEH did as a rookie.

Really bad take.

MVS is a Hardman clone? Why because they’re both fast? This offense relies on speed. Without Tyreek, we might as well have several guys with elite speed. That’s how you make up for no Hardman.

That stats RunKC posted about 40+ yard catches tells you everything you need to know. Only Tyreek has more than MVS since 2018.

The Jones signing makes a lot of sense when you think about how this team has struggled to run the ball against light boxes. He’s going to run the football very well in this offense. They just need a better receiver to round out the RB group.
