Damn. He's only 67.

My maternal grandmother died from that shit. It was awful. In the end she didn't know anything or anybody, and spent her days playing with a doll and babbling like a baby. I'd eat a bullet rather than suffer that fate.

When my mom started working as a nursing student she worked at a home. One of the first days she was there they admitted a man who had Alzheimer's and who could no longer take care of himself. Security measures weren't nearly as tight back then, and the guy snuck in a gun. That night he shot himself and she was the lucky one to be the first in the room after the noise of the gunshot startled the staff.

That's awful for her, but like I said, I don't blame him one bit. I'd sooner get burned at the stake in the middle of Mile High in front of thousands of cheering Bronco fans than slowly die in a nursing home.

Although personally I think I'd have done it before I got there, after first taking out whoever thought it was a good idea to put me there in the first place.

My mom died a very slow death from Alzheimer’s. Wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

I should have said LW ranks up there with Die Hard...I agree, Die Hard was a classic and is better...but LW was ****ing great too. Just not quite as great.

I will always be grateful to Bruce Willis for making "Die Hard" the best Christmas movie ever.

Because of this thread, I watched one of Willis' recent "b" movies...it sucks. I am glad he is quitting because he has become Nick Cage.

I was watching a video about "surprise guests on Comedy Central roasts" the other day. Demi Moore shows up at Bruce Willis roast and one of the jokes she made was about his terrible memory.
