Been saying the same thing. If I were going to trade those 1st round picks, it would be for even more picks in the 40-80 range.

I've heard people say (including Nate Taylor) that the chiefs shouldn't make 12 selections because there's not 12 roster spots. Of course some of these picks will be duds. The point is that having more picks means more tries at spinning the wheel or more lottery tickets and nailing on a mid-to-late round selection like Kelce, Hill, Sneed, Trey Smith, etc.

That simply isn't going to get it done. Not to get to 10th.

I agree that there isn't room for 12 rookies on the roster, but I bet you could find 8 sports. 2 Edge, 2 WR, 2 CB, S, RT, and its easy to go beyond that if you draft certain positions like TE or RB

Yeah in a mock I sent 29, 94, and of 1st rounder in 2023 for 10 and 69.

for what you end up getting I don't know if its even a move I'd try to make.

I initially posted one of the 2nds instead and perhaps a pick from next year's?

If we don't want Hardman, what makes you think anybody else would? He has virtually no trade value at all.

To get to 10, it's going to take this year's 29 or 30, next year's 1st rounder, and a bit more...

Other than the year Tom Brady had Randy Moss, our WR group is better right now than anything the Patriots ever had with tommy. If the right guy is there at 50 then i might think about it, but other than that i would wait until at least 62 or possibly trade 94 and something else to possibly move up and take a WR.

Our biggest need is CB and Edge and I don't think it's close.

Ojabo, Travis Jones, Logan Hall, Jahan Dotson at 50
Logan Hall, Skyy Moore, Sam Williams at 62

If you're basing this off of his mock....then half of those dudes aren't available in the spots that you want them.
