By all means correct me, but it seems we hopefully already have one of these types in Skyy Moore.

Then we'll have two Moores. Only one to go.

#5 in receiving yards over the last 3+ seasons with 3,722.

Ahead of guys like DK Metcalf, Amari Cooper, Chris Godwin, AJ Brown, Keenan Allen and Terry McLaurin.

Behind only Kupp, Diggs, Adams and Hill.

And with absolute trash throwing him the football. This isn't an underneath/possession guy - decent QB play would ABSOLUTELY boost those numbers.

Folks have slept on DJ Moore for a really long time. I'm guessing most folks would say he's fringe top 15 over that period of time - maybe.

I think he'd absolutely blow up if given a chance in an offense and with a quarterback that could take full advantage of him. Moore - MVS - Moore is a REALLY intriguing set of WRs. JJSS is fine as a change of pace and situationally.

Not at all...well, I guess maybe depending on who you see Skyy Moore as (or unless you just mean 'receivers who's last names are Moore).

I maintain Skyy, long-term, is a slot receiver with some underneath skills who will be good when schemed into space. I think he is a nice complementary player who won't be a featured WR in a truly good WR room.

DJ Moore, OTOH, is a larger, more physical, true boundary WR. I think he's a genuine Z caliber player in that there are few things on a football field he doesn't do well.

I think Moore is arguably a top 10 WR in this league, definitely a top 20 and creates an interesting discussion from about the 8-18 range. He's very good and very underrated.

I'd give a 2nd for him in a heartbeat. Wouldn't bat an eye. He'd probably cost a 1st since he'd come with a nice contract and I'd consider pulling that trigger as well. He's really struggling to mesh with Baker right now and I think he'd explode if we brought him here. I don't see why he couldn't/wouldn't restructure to fit his deal in as well if it came as part of being 'freed' from Carolina.

If these early season struggles have made him attainable, I'd find a way to make it work and then go after Jerry Hughes to complement the pass rush.

Admittedly i don't know shit about DJ Moore. I don't follow the Panthers at all so i'll have to just take your word for it. I put on some of his highlights the other day and his build reminded me of Skyy.

JJSS can kick rocks. Watching the All-22 last night and that dude just does not separate.

Yeah but they never make a play for a WR so putting them on this list just serves to cock tease their fans.

Would love it but money may be issue right now. Thats why I dont see how the Bill's can trade for McCafrey. They have no money and none next year either.

If he's traded, his bonus hits Carolina's cap. We could then see if he'd be willing to convert the rest of this years salary into a signing bonuses and stretch it out over the next 3 years.

Would need to have a plan B in place though - if he sees that as leverage to get an AAV commensurate with a re-set market, I'm not interested in giving up the pick capital it would take.

DJ Moore could be the catalyst to another SB win for this team. I'd easily place him in the top 8 WRs in the NFL. I wouldn't want to give up a 2023 1st because of the need at LT but pretty well anything else could be on the table, including a 2024 1st.

The Chiefs need to get this guy.

His base this year is $1 million.

We'll worry about next year next year.

Money ain't an issue.

Rodgers being a Drama Queen would probably dissuade him to make the trip

Renegade 10-12-2022 04:54 PM

Don't forget the fact that it would take Moore 8+ weeks to learn Andy's system. He should be ready to go around the end of the season and ready for the Playoffs.
