But now, I still don’t understand how a team could get caught cheating in-game and not be immediately disqualified.

Or at least toss all guilty players immediately.

Exactly. The refs didn't stop the play and Wilson refused to concede the play (admirable or foolish?- you tell me). What else is there for Jones to do?

Still trying to see the offsides that the Donks coach was complaining about... Guess we could have been lined up off but at that camera angle I don't see it.. Frank Clark reset his down hand but didn't move across.. Think its all bullshit..

They let a PI go in the endzone against MVS so it's all fair this time.

It's almost like fan bases aren't objective and notice stuff that happens to them to them more. This isn't directed at you.

Just that the tweets in the op could be tweets from chiefs fans just as easily considering this board thinks the NFL doesn't like one of it's most popular players.

Nah.

All penalties against Williams are completely legit and fully earned.

Frankly they should throw more flags on him just to make up for the stuff they missed at some point.

Donk fans have evolved into whiney east coach bitches

Should have been disqualified when the refs found it, :)

I thought the refs handled that incident very poorly. They just made the cheating broncos go to the sidelines and pretend to wipe their uniforms down, and they stopped the game so they could do this charade.

No.

The proper approach would have been to send the offenders to the locker room with orders to put on new uniforms. Then you carry on with the game. They can rejoin the game when they're changed and return to the field.

It definitely looked like solid hands to the face but I only saw it once. Either way you know the refs are insane. Don't put your hands up there.

Should the Chiefs be docked additional draft picks for taking him?

When my team ****ing sucked I did care about draft position.

With the game being on the line, Chris Jones was very lucky he wasn't flagged for that slam.

I'm all for the un-pussification of the NFL, hard hits etc, but with the way refs have been calling RTP this year, a flag there would have given DEN a new set of downs on the KC 40yd line, putting them near FG range.

Not saying Chiefs would have lost but DEN could have easily sent the game into OT, and we'd all be flipping our shit over it. It wouldn't be the first time Jones did something foolish to cost the Chiefs at a critical point near the end of a game.

Mahomes has been slammed down like this and he did not get the call either.

Jones was doing everything in his power to not push him to the ground and land on him. When the whistle would NOT sound, he threw him to the ground (again, to seemingly avoid having to land on him.) WTF do people want Jones to do here, especially given what he's been flagged for THIS SEASON?

kccrow 01-03-2023 01:21 AM

I have zero feelings for the Donktards.

1. Sutton pushed off, like he always does. Cry someone else a river.

2. Jones held him for what? 4-5 seconds in a bear hug? Should have been ruled in the grasp and down. That's on the NFL, not against the Chiefs.

3. Jones didn't do anything to Wilson with a no-call that hasn't happened to Mahomes every game with no call. Get over it. The Chiefs aren't getting biased calls. It's the NFL refs calling it inconsistently because there will never be a clear enough definition. First, you don't want all the weight of the defender coming down on the QB. Then you don't want the QB hit high. Then you don't want the QB hit low. That leaves... body slam. Now you don't want that. Get the **** out of here. Play ****ing football or don't.

Yep, he's been grabby and out-matched in recent weeks. Got some decent tools but you can see there's a looot more development needed.
