If they are saying 24 hours, then most likely that is due to cooling.

His rep is on the McAfee show

Yeah I think they mentioned that cooling part specifically.

Not much new regarding his condition. They've been doing test today he said everything is hour by hour.

Talked about how much his charity means alot to him and how he runs a camp. Used to worry about getting sponsors but now that won't be an issue.

On ESPN radio, they were saying it would be at least 24 hours and may actually wait until tomorrow morning just to be safe, before assessing his status.

This is a pretty cool level of coordination.

According to an ESPN reporter just now, Hamlin was awake at one point before he was sedated. And that the family is overall in good spirits. So that's a tiny bit of good news anyway.

Wow that's great to hear. The fact that his mom witnessed the whole thing, man, awesome if she has been given reason to believe there's good chance of recovery.

I have a gut feeling that he's going to come out of this ok. He's going to walk out onto the field in Buffalo at the hope opener next year, and there's going to be a lot of tears of joy.

Better yet,

Have him walk out to ArrowHead field for the NFL Season opener next year. Bills/Chiefs opening weekend!
