They aren’t moving anything to Monday because NCAA.

chiefforlife 01-03-2023 09:50 AM

Or they could just call it a tie and move on.

Then the right call also doesn't take win/loss scenarios into account correct?

Call the game and move on.

Wrong?

It’s a business, and business mind you that has recently embraced gambling. Sorry but it’s all about money. I can’t imagine a regular company doing anything different.

People die at work all the time, the world goes on.

If they call the game, I think it needs to be a Bills loss and Bengals win.

Bengals were winning and playing really well. It wasn’t one of their players who went down, so why punish them?

Also the Steelers, whose path isn't that unlikely, but includes BUF beating NE.

This forfeiting both games stuff is hilariously dumb. Zero chance. Their mentals won't be good for Sunday but they'll suddenly be fine for the playoff game the following week? Almost certain the NFL wouldn't even allow them to do that. People seem to forget the sheer amount of money involved in not just any single game but the entire season, and the volume of people who'd be impacted by something like that.

No chance. Either BUF has to voluntarily forfeit/concede, or it's a tie/push/void. Unless the league says play tomorrow, BUF says no, then you give the L for sure.

Could play early afternoon, before the night NCAA game...

I could see that as well.

It just seems like it would be more fair to call it a tie.

Those are the only situations in which they would call the game, so that’s what I’m saying.

If the Bills aren’t ready to play today or tomorrow (which is completely understandable), then I think the League needs to call it. I don’t see why it would be called a tie either.

I could see them forfeiting last night's game but I can't imagine them doing it for the Pats game.
