this isn't adequately explained by incompetence.

That's just what the NFL wants us to think.

My guess is that being brought to tears over the Chris Jones strip sack in our most recent game will not make him any more friendly to us.

They'll actually be destroying the fake Rock Ridge! But they'll think it's the real Rock Ridge! But we'll know it's the fake Rock Ridge!

And I think I read somewhere that he's the first in THIRTY-FIVE years to do so. Truly unbelievable.

That says something about how they want to see these games managed and it ain't good.

This is my beef. The NFL knows damn well that Cheffers is going to muck the game up with excessive flags, which makes the game a lot worse to watch, so why put him (or Bleetman for example) anywhere near their crown jewel game that's watched by a ton of new/novice fans? And he's been pretty incompetent for at least two years running, his grades have to be in the dumpster, but they award one of the least competent refs with a SB? What's up with that?

The good thing about this is... if we don't beat the Bengals, with all the shit the Bengals have said about the league, we know cheffers won't let them win.

Pretty sure it's a mixed crew. Cheffers will be w/o his gang of hired mobster hitmen.

They’ll follow his lead though. Like the Tampa Super Bowl.

The NFL knows exactly what it's doing here. I'm not optimistic about winning this year as a result of this, but let's just get to the game first and go from there.

So the NFL has Cheffers as the highest rated head official in the NFL? Says a ton about how the NFL wants penalties to be called.

Vinnie Pasquantino was on 610 sports and they had brought up Cheffers being the SB official. Vinnie said he would just be happy if he rooted for a team that allowed him to complain about who was reffing the SB.

So does this mean Cheffers will NOT be officiating our game this week?

Close and exciting, like the SB between Tampa and KC? Yeah, what a nail-biter that was.

Muffalo losing to the Bengals should've been the end of the "NFL is rigged" nonsense, but here we are.

The nfl may not be rigged or whatever but stuff like this lends credibility to the argument that spreads are altered by timely penalties.
