It was very evident on TV!

On a side note, Steven St. John of 810 radio attended the game and he said it was incredibly hot. I don't doubt that it was, but after having been at the 2019 season-opener, which was probably the hottest I've ever been and had to leave at halftime, I'm betting this year's game wasn't quite as bad.

Thoughts?

The UV index was high that day. It can be hotter than hell in that stadium at the beginning of the season. Locals prefer not to go the first weeks of the year; later in the season the weather is a lot more pleasant.

That's why I skipped this year's game. If they play in October or later some year, I'll probably give it another shot.

It was hot as hell but no where near the temp's or the "feels like" temps in 2019. I've been in Florida for 13 years now, that day in 2019 was the hottest day I've experienced.
