Only thing that concerns me about this game is Philly's front and how long Mahomes has been holding the ball.
If 15 gets the ball out quick and/or the OL holds up, we're good. |

Hope it ends on an Eagles defensive holding call again so I can see some more tears.

Trenches will be hard work for us. Sweat is on pace for a double-digit sack season, Reddick is on pace for another great rushing year and Carter looks like the next great DT in the making as a rookie. Still think we win but this will be one of the toughest games of the season. |

Turnovers sure didn't help. I just didn't like how they ran on us. |

It's time to ramp up Toney. And if he dies, he dies. |

Those instincts of mine haven't gone anywhere, though. Which is fine. I'm down for some football discussion and I like having the back and forth, except when it's toxic. |

And, man. No team in the NFL played that Hurts play-action better than KC. Bolton had it read correctly 100% of the time in the Super Bowl. What's been super shocking to me is that Tranquill, these past two games, is doing everything Bolton does. He doesn't go downhill as decisively, but he does play with better depth. Just an absolutely absurd free agency addition by Veach. Tranquill has allowed the defense to do everything it was doing under Bolton without skipping a beat. |
How many tush pushes will we see?

Luckily, PHI isn't playing very well on either side of the ball. Their OFF DVOA=+13.4%, good enough for just 7th, and defensively they're really underperforming, with a DEF DVOA of just +3.7%, a bottom-of-the-middle tier 21st in the league, and just two spots better than MIA's crappy defense. that should help the cause quite a bit.
It also is fortunate that both Hurts and Goedert are injured, Particularly Goedert, who broke his arm or something and won't be available at all. But PHI has the ability to just run the ball if they want to, and they will just hand off 40+ times if it's working. I would be concerned that they might try something like that, but I have a feeling that Siriani has something to prove, and won't lean on their run game like that against KC, probably to his ultimate detriment. If they do, well, I guess we'll find out how good our run defense plays without Bolton. |
