You know, the extra time out the Bills got at the end of the first half. Needs thrown into the mix

Buffalo got away with a lot of false starts in that game, including the drive to end the first half.

So Diontae Johnson basically accused the refs of being bought off, and his fine was $25K. Mahomes has a much bigger platform, plus he made a big scene in-game, but his comments weren't nearly that over-the-top. I would think it all balances out and he also gets hit with $25K. His ad revenue from the MNF games tonight should more than cover.

Guys, come on.

If that "fire" had been confined to the sideline outburst, sure.

But in 20 years we don't have a clip of Brady shaking the opposing QB's hand and saying, "worst ****ing call I've ever seen" and being a sore loser over it.

And I'm having a hard time thinking of a press conference where Brady doubles and triples down, all while blasting what was a blatantly CORRECT call on the field.

It was a bad look for a lot of reasons, and I have no doubt he'll learn from it and turn that fire to positive energy.

Will the rest of the team?

I don’t see it happening but, on the suspension talk, I hope they do suspend Mahomes for this coming week’s game. Dude will come back and spend the remainder of the season and post season ramming it up the league’s ass all the way to SB MVP.

The refs already seem to be tilting things in our opponents' favor, so I don't think Mahomes' outburst means much. Penalties this season:

Chiefs
Penalties: 83 (11th)
Yards: 690 (11th)

Chiefs' Opponents
Penalties: 60 (31st)
Yards: 514 (29th)

So the Chiefs are already wearing horns and their opponents are already wearing halos. This team needs to circle the wagons and assume the "Us against the world" mentality and start kicking some ass.

What are you talking about? Brady literally did the same thing after the Patriots played the Panthers and went after the head ref when Gronk didn't get a PI call in the end zone. And BTW, Brady doesn't shake hands with his opponent after he loses.

Pretty interesting stats there. The Chiefs opponents are randomly squeaky clean against KC. Pretty suspicious trend.

Packers game was really messed up. Humphrey got called on a ticky tack, arguably phantom holding penalty that cost KC 4 points. Meanwhile Green Bay got away with two blatant fouls that led to a 14 point swing in their favor. Very blatant hands to the face by the Packers on their long 4th down play which led to 7 points, and obviously the very blatant interference on MVS at the end of the game.

We also don't have any video of brady ever being on the losing end of a critical late-game penalty. Ever. In 20+ seasons.

We have a lot of video of him receiving critical late-game penalties, though. Tons of it.

It's clear to me now the NFL was not going to let the Chiefs win another Super Bowl.

That's why they let them get out to a 6-1 start.
