The season Maikel Garcia has put together so far is pretty overlooked and under appreciated.

Maikel is one piece worthy of longterm inclusion in our rebuild plan. Beyond the trio of BWJ, Garcia, and Ragans, who else is deserving? Massey has potential.

Yeah but are you really? This team just played the 3 AL division leaders back to back and went 4-5 with two of the best comebacks of the season in that mix. And if they had some better arms in the bullpen they might be 6-3 in this stretch.

They score a lot of runs and there's talent in the rotation. You add a couple bullpen arms and there's no reason to think team can't make a run at the wild card. Even in these tough last couple weeks almost every single time they're behind they fight and claw their way back into games. They look exactly like a team who is competitive but needs a boost.

"Being honest" to you means "being a douche" to everyone else.

I'm not a baseball expert but get some bullpen help and an OF and we should be in it for the playoffs. Do we have anything we can trade though?

The wording of the rule needs to be changed to say that you cannot intentionally obstruct the base runner in order to get a tagout you would not get without the obstruction.

Now that replays are strictly reviewed and now that breaking up DPs and running over catchers is severely limited. That was bullshit for the Yankee SS to risk injury to Witt's hand, and having the ball already really does not make the blocking off the base okay.

You all keep saying the same shit, but it makes absolutely no sense. Explain to me how this team isn't a contender? They have the 4th highest run differential in the AL and the 6th/7th highest in the MLB. They have the 4th best record in the AL and the 7th best in the ML. They're 5th in the entire ML in runs scored and 11th in runs allowed. They are 25-14 at home and 15-16 on the road.

So how the **** is this team not a contender?
