I’m glad the con of “back to school” will only be one more year after this one.

Edit: and I won’t have to buy boots unless his feet grow, so there’s that :thumb:

But wait until you get that first college bill.

Uh, kids grow. Pretty much every year, I'm told.

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with anything.

I do get mad when schools think they save money by shutting off AC/heat overnight. Last school-would run a chiller from 7:40-2:30.
It would take SO LONG to cool off the building the next day, and just when it gets comfortable, off goes the AC. I dont see how it saves money, when it is running full blast all of the other times.

Lots of assumptions or rumors in this. Going into unoccupied mode without a doubt saves huge money on utilities. You either had an ignorant operator at the switch, the equipment hadn’t been maintained, or your information was faulty. If you can drop electricity in that 2:30-5:30 window, you’d drop your demand billing substantially.

Yeah, not excited… at this point I just hope he stays close to home when college happens.

If I'm paying, my son will go to a state school unless he can otherwise get a private or out of state school paid for with scholarships. There are plenty of wonderful state options here and there is no reason to go elsewhere.

Exactly. I hope he goes Wichita State. I’d hate my fishing buddy move too far away LMAO
