Toney is such a fascinating case because I don’t think he is actually an asshole. According to kelce everyone loves the guy. And I dont think hes even that stupid. But there is just the lowest awareness I think ive ever seen where he doesn’t really think about what he’s saying or doing.

When Toney lined up offsides last year he wasn’t sorry because he messed up. It didn’t even feel like excuses. It just never even registered that he made a costly mistake. Maybe the weirdest response to a mess up I’ve ever heard

He'll always have that ring he was a huge asset in getting. His walk in td and record setting punt return were massive in that game.

When Hardman scored that TD to win the championship Toney was one of the players who stormed onto the field to celebrate. Sun glasses on, hoody up with loafers on his feet and a towel in hand. And I was surprised because you would think him not playing in the superbowl he would be super pissed. But the guy was grinning from ear to ear and looked genuinely happy. Yes he was silly towards the end of his time in KC and couldn't stay healthy. But his role in winning us the second ring in this dynasty should never be forgotten imo.
