Aikman has always been a sissy, it's been painful to watch some on this board defend him like he's their son.

RollChiefsRoll 01-18-2025 11:46 PM

Go film another Skechers commercial, Troy.

jjchieffan 01-18-2025 11:47 PM

Aikman was a fraud. A system quarterback playing with a great defense, a great offensive line, a HOF running back, receiver and coach that made him look better than he actually was. That team could have done just as well with Dave Kreig at quarterback. The surest way to expose a fraud is to compare to the real thing. Mahomes exposes Troy for the fraud he is. So, of course he despises him.

So there were three major questionable calls in this game. The two roughing calls on Mahomes and the Trey Smith holding call. So we came away with a +15 yard advantage and that's all the entire NFL world can talk about. WHAT THE **** ARE WE TALKING about here! JFC! As though one 15 yard penalty had ANY IMPACT whatsoever on that game.

How about we talk about the 2018 Chiefs/Patriots AFCG when we got ****ing dog walked by the refs for game changing and drive extending penalty after game changing and drive extending penalty in favor of Brady and Pats dynasty.

You're forgetting the Hollywood Brown incompletion which was absolutely bullshit. He had full control of the ball when he was downed. It's easily overlooked because of the Kelce play right afterwards. They chalked off a legitimate 50 yard play and no one gives a shit about it.

ForeverIowan 01-18-2025 11:59 PM

Anyone have a video of the Trey Smith "hold?"

Nick Wright said this game was "practice" for the Chiefs. So we're arguing about practice!? Practice?!

Yes there is what I am legit confused.

What call was it, for us, that swayed the outcome???? I watched the game then saw that all over the net it's "the refs are cheating for the Chiefs".

The first RTP call was legit. The second was iffy.

That's where we are?????

The holding call on Trey Smith was bullshit. Is that ok?

Nevermind Joe Mixon taunting and highstepping from the 10 yard line in on his touchdown run. If Kelce had a breakaway TD and did that the NFL world would be in a gosh damn uproar!

This breaks everything down nicely.

Warren Sharp and Luke Russert can suck a dick. Nothing is gonna change because the "Chiefs cheat" shit is just that, shit.

And Aikman is obviously scared. Mr. "Talk to Me when Mahomes has 1/4 of my Super Bowl rings" is worried that Mahomes is going to have the same number after this year. ****ing clown.

I'm gonna get shit on for this but....

Troy Aikman threw the deep ball better than Mahomes ever has or ever will.

He was not a game manager.

I can find you multiple games in the postseason where this was evident.

He gets unfairly labeled with that because his peak was shorter than guys like Marino.

And after 95/96 the teams around Aikman were a ****ing mess and he started getting hit in the head too much.

Even during his peak, guys like Alvin Harper or whatever vagabond the Cowboys trotted out as the third receiver were nothing without Aikman. When Harper went to Tampa Bay his career was over. Jay Novacek was nothing special but he and Troy had a special Mahomes/Kelce type connection.

No one ever called Carson Palmer a game manager. Well, Carson Palmer was just Temu Troy Aikman.

Thank you for coming to my Troy Talk.

That’s actually 1/3 of his Super Bowl titles. Mahomes tied him last year. He’ll pass him this year. Troy’s livid.

Hammock Parties 01-19-2025 12:35 AM

Guys like David Carr can go out and throw 30 TDs in today's game.

I guarantee if Aikman played today he would have insane stats. In a league where you can't hit quarterbacks or touch receivers anymore?

Sheeeeiit. He'd be in the Pro Bowl every ****ing year.

Probably no one in NFL history was better at standing in the pocket and delivering an on-time laser while taking a ****ing massive blow than Troy ****ing Aikman.

YES I HAD HIS POSTER ON MY WALL SHINE A BLACKLIGHT ON IT IF YOU MUST
