That’s a pretty devastating injury though. I guess we’ll see if the team doctors agree with the agent and his media mouthpieces. He’s also got 33” arms.

I don't love Simmons anyway and yeah, we're handwaiving a patella in a big BIG way.

That's about as bad an injury as you can have apart from a back issue.

The one thing we can’t do as fans is know the medical.

Team doctors will get to look and confirm.

The Patriots have enough cap space to sign Stanley AND trade for DK Metcalf.

Patriots' offer: Four years, $100 million ($65 million guaranteed)

Honestly, even with Stanley's injury history, I'd happily pay him $25 million over giving Cam Robinson $20 million.

Other than last yr you can bank on him missing games, sometimes many of them. I don’t want him for that reason. But options being what they are I can u/s it if they go that way.

I think Ronnie is a pretty good LT would be the best we have had since Fisher. I just don't see him fitting in here. Dude won't play with a bruise. That's the opposite of a Reid type a guy.

If Stanley actually hits FA he has to be the target. Then we're free to draft BPA.
Trade up for Mathew Golden if he slips far enough. Let's get this offense turned on. Draft the Blue kid out of Texas Tech.

Taylor doesn't know shit.

Maybe they'll sign Stanley but he hasn't provided any insight here - others have made the same suggestion for weeks and still others said the Thuney trade all but ensures a veteran LT will be acquired.

Taylor is a hack when it comes to actual speculation.

This kinda seems like a captain obvious report though.

Yeah he’s hurt a lot but he’s easily the best LT on the market talent wise. Of course Veach would, and should, target him.

TheGuardian 03-05-2025 09:08 PM

I just got here. Did we sign this POS yet?

pugsnotdrugs19 03-05-2025 09:15 PM

If this does turn out to be wrong and the Chiefs never even try to acquire Stanley, which I don’t think will be the case, then you have to wonder if they’re intentionally feeding Taylor bad info at this point.

That or he’s just a total moron that takes guess and doesn’t do the work.

I don’t know, but I do believe he’s right about this one, whether he’s sourced on it or guessing. Veach loves to fish in the deepest part of the pond.

He doesn't know shit.

I'll say this - he's a LOT closer to Athan than he is Terez Paylor.

Alot of these "chiefs insiders" just want to be someone. My facebook feed gets spammed with that middle eastern dude who's a complete idiot. Perez was the last great one

In58men 03-05-2025 09:30 PM

I miss Terez

New World Order 03-05-2025 09:36 PM

Where is SR?

Maybe he can message Ronnnie on FB and tell them the Chiefs are interested

It can absolutely be the death of a player's career. It's very serious.

It "seems" like the people that are "in the know" in terms of analysts still have him as a first-round prospect post-Combine. That's usually pretty telling on the feedback trickling through from team physicians that maybe there is some level of comfort with the healing process.

Now, other guys are dropping out of first-round mocks with known character flags in Luther Burden III and Walter Nolen. That seems to indicate that there was chatter that teams weren't as comfortable with the off-the-field as maybe we thought they might be.
