This looks like Ronald Jones, 2.0.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chiefs</a> plan to sign former <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bucs?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Bucs</a> RB Ronald Jones to a one-year deal, per source. <br><br>Jones had two seasons with 1,000 yards from scrimmage in Tampa Bay and should have ample opportunities in KC.</p>— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) <a href="https://twitter.com/TomPelissero/status/1507726457996468248?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 26, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Although I didn't anticipate Jones never dressing. So watch the opposite happen and they give this guy a million carries. |

If teams back off and play shell you need a running back to get those 5-8 yard runs inside. Mitchell to me is best as an outside runner. We shall see. |
What he play like?
|
He runs like LeSean McCoy

Guys we didn’t have this last year. At all. Especially after Pacheco got hurt. No explosion at all. We badly needed this from a rotational back.

We need one of these half dozen rookie running backs everyone is so excited about. Because Pacheco and Mitchell do not inspire confidence for a twenty game run. Is it possible to get a speedy difference-maker at RB with one of one of our third round picks, or is the thought they will be snapped up in the first two rounds? |
His vision is better than Pacheco’s. His lateral agility is also better too.
Look at the speed and elusiveness <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Chiefs new RB ⬇️ <a href="https://t.co/8CTSyEhgjx">pic.twitter.com/8CTSyEhgjx</a></p>— The Kingdom (@MahomeSZN) <a href="https://twitter.com/MahomeSZN/status/1899135378264609231?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 10, 2025</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Poor man Raheem Mostert injury history included.

getting a more dynamic back in the 3rd/4th would be awfully nice. I see this as a nice rotational piece with some experience and burst.
Pacheco for straight power, (since he isn't too fluid anyway).. This guy for outside runs and swings. Rookie for a bit of everything. |
I think i had this guy on a fantasy team a few years back. Always injured.
|
Seems like a Damien Williams type. small deal. we'll see what happens.
|
With Perine gone, maybe draft a RB also?
