You must have missed the Redskins game when he was on the Chiefs. He was dominating in that game.

Didn't know that. That was stupid. And I would take Aaron Rodgers over Cassel in a heartbeat. He's the real deal, unlike Sanchez.

you never pass up a franchise QB when you don't have one.... I don't care how good a LB Derrick Johnson was supposed to be

What we've learned is you don't take LB's in the first round that don't rush the passer...especially ones from Texas.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-05-2009 08:46 PM

This is absolutely the right call, even if they don't make it.

Molitoth 10-05-2009 08:46 PM

Noooo kick the field goal!!!!! No more points for Rodgers!

Pablo 10-05-2009 08:46 PM

Don't let Driver catch a TD.

And I need Longwell to kick a couple more extra points or a FG.

I saw it. I remember all of Jared's games. I think this one tops them all. Hes never been this consistent and dominant on every play in one game. Just watch him on pass plays. Rodgers has to roll right every snap.

I'm Mason Crosby, he is Longwell and Rodgers.... but I have a 26 point lead at the moment.

Damn, Rodgers slid all the way to GB at #24. KC took Johnson at #15. I was screamin' for Rodgers...but he played at the same JC that I did so I was definitely biased. Still thought he was going to be the real deal.

Mecca 10-05-2009 08:48 PM

Rodgers receivers just are not helping him out at all.

kcxiv 10-05-2009 08:49 PM

cdcox 10-05-2009 08:49 PM

Great play by Rogers, though.

Pioli Zombie 10-05-2009 08:49 PM

The receiver Bowe'd it.

Rodgers is really playing outstanding for everything that is going on around him.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-05-2009 08:50 PM

Games like this are why FF is ruining people's appreciation for football. Aaron Rodgers has played an absolutely fantastic game, and people will look at the box score and FF totals and say that Favre dominated him.

Param 10-05-2009 08:50 PM

Could Cassel have made that throw under pressure?

Pablo 10-05-2009 08:50 PM

God, even my grandma is calling me about Brett Favre. The plague is SPREADING.

Pioli Zombie 10-05-2009 08:50 PM

Ok, now Favre can Favre Favre down the Favre and take some Favre off the Favre in the process.

Pretty much. I should be rooting for GB to make a nice comeback run and make this a sweet game; but right now I want Favre to march them about 90 yards downfield and let Longwell kick a FG. Pretty odd stance; but it is what it is.

WildTurkey 10-05-2009 08:53 PM

Jeez well everyone will jump off the bandwagon once Favre ends the Vikings season with an INT

I can't point to a box score to explain it to you.

How about this:

He's had no running game, he's been constantly harassed, his receivers have made numerous drops, and yet he's consistently moved his team down the field and put them in position to score and keep the game close, primarily because he's ****ing nails on 3rd down.

KCrockaholic 10-05-2009 08:54 PM

Im going to be curious what Minnesota is going to do after this season with ALL that talent and no QB.......

Basileus777 10-05-2009 08:55 PM

Other than holding onto the ball too long at times, Rodgers has played really well.

For the most part he has got it out pretty quick, otherwise JA would have 10 sacks

Ok. I understand your point. But the score would be 28-7 right now if not for a screw up by Peterson. Rodgers has played very well given the circumbstances but you cant say Favre has done worse than Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers has almost as many 3rd down conversions in this game, running for his life, as the Chiefs do ALL SEASON.

1) The score would also still be 28-14 if Donald Lee wasn't a ****ing piece of shit bum

Bench Lee forever for Finley

Coach 10-05-2009 09:00 PM

Well, I guess fantasy owners who have Adrian Peterson might be a little pissed right now.

Mecca 10-05-2009 09:01 PM

Finley does get more time than Lee, they were just in multiple TE.

WildTurkey 10-05-2009 09:01 PM

You can't honestly tell me that if the roles were reversed and Rodgers was playing behind the Minnie O-line with AP in that backfield that he wouldn't have the same or better numbers as Favre does at this point

I'm quite pleased. I had a 16 point lead going in and it looks like it could be safe, especially if Harvin gets a few more catches for me.

I think it's because defenses are boxing up, forcing Brett to beat them with his arm. Granted, Brett is playing well right now, but I don't think he'll continue this pace.

With a pass-rush, I'd agree with you. Unfortunately, GB's secondary is getting shredded, and they are not getting any pressure at all.

Favre could balance his checkbook and still be able to complete the pass.

Not even close. Peterson has been fantastic in all of his game but this one. Just because he hasnt put up 100 yards in a while does not mean hes having a bad season. Have you checked his average? Even in FF hes been better than most RBs.
