Interesting thread on Tigerboard. Looks like somebody ot a hold of Kim English's phone number. He's been getting phone calls and text messages. Right out of the Antlers' playbook.

Davis and Piper had a "remember where you are moment" on the radio call today when MU was booing an injured KU player today...

:doh!: the Antlers...

I didn't get that take at all.

They were booing the momentum kill. There seem to be a hap hazard sometimes yes sometimes no rules as far as the stoppage of the play.

Even if you are going out of your way to paint a fanbase in a bad light "booing" an injured player doesn't even make sense.

Roy isn't very smart. That's as polite as I can say it.

Reerun_KC 03-06-2010 09:54 PM

I just want to say thanks ESPN for avoiding KU's senior day.. No way did we want it tarnished with Dookie Vitale and his slobbering of everything Duke...

Please dont let him west of the Mississippi river ever again.

Amen to that...
Dickie is now at the Billy Packer/Al Mcguire level......

As I said, I don't watch movies, too busy on other things. Some of us work hard for a living, working ungodly hours and have no time for the fun stuff, like movies to educate yourself with, comedy, etc.

But keep putting yourself on that pedestal, one day you will fall hard.

Enjoy it while you can .

Good thing Roy has time to post the Game threads 4 days before the actual game, though.

It's no surprise he didn't work out as a head coach. He's a cartoon. His actual in game analysis (what little there is) never provides much insight that a person who watches or plays enough basketball wouldn't instantly know to begin with. He relies on moronic catch phrases and slobbering over the big stars in any given game instead of actual game breakdown. His whole "freeze it right there" gimmick anymore does nothing more than to point out the obvious ball handling move or shot, rather than some unseen off the ball screen or great move to get into box out position or well executed hedge.

He should have retired 5 years ago.

I noticed the day of KU's senior day, ESPN had a nice long segment about Vasquez's senior day after the Duke/Maryland game. "He's been such a great leader for them, he deserves a special night, blah, blah, blah".

When it came to KU/KSU..."KU won"

Reerun_KC 03-07-2010 11:17 AM

I recorded the game last night and started watching it right now...

CBS didnt get to the KU game until there was 3:20 left in the first half... Another Big East Foul fest prelude....

**** me running... That is ****ing embarrassing.

Which is fine, its not hurting our recruiting or our abilities to win the Conference or NC's... Just keep him out of AFH....

Not true at all. ESPN talked about and showed parts of Sherron's speech.

The CBS where I was watching switched at the beginning of the game.

It was kinda nice actually, felt like the big dance, going back and forth with every stoppage of action.
