Ummm, if they knew a tsunami was on its way and went down to get the "great shot," it's Darwin Award time.

I totally hear you. Thats why I posted earlier about the obligatory nutballs hurrying to the coast to watch the tsunami. Happens every freakin time. I'm 19 miles from the coast & just sat here & shook my head watching the cars driving west instead of east. Tsunamis are not "fun." They are not some kinda joke. I just don't get it....

if I had to guess, i'd bet it's built on a slope, so the upper half was excavated down to flat and the material was used to build the lower half up to flat. the lower half wasn't as densely packed and moved in the quake, undermining the road above it.

Precisely my point. Pry your ass away from the idiot box occasionally and read some things off the beaten path. Weather modification technology has been a possibility for over 100 years. The technology is getting better now.

Tesla was a pioneer in this field, as well as many other fields. In 1899, Tesla built a giant coil that produced 10 million volts of artificial "lightning".

So, that fact that "natural" disasters aren't always "natural" doesn't surprise me. In fact, it's becoming fairly commonplace.

Here some rainstorms were created. http://www.naturalnews.com/030998_we...Abu_Dhabi.html

It apparently is way outside of the realm of possibility for your brain. Again, this doesn't surprise me. Google Weather modification or tesla weather machine or tesla weather or weather warfare

I have stated in this thread many times, that this earthquake was most likely completely natural. I've also stated that that possibility of it NOT being natural is out there, due to HAARP being on full-blast during the time of the earthquake.

Don't assume that all "natural" disasters are natural. In this day and age, it's not the case.

Again, call me a whack job kook. I won't lose any sleep. And if it makes you feel better, heh. That is fine. I research and read more than most of the people on this thread combined. And I had a top secret security clearance in the US Army. I know things you probably don't know.

man-made earthquakes do exist. They typically occur when people are mining or injecting without considering the possibility that they may screw up the surface. Thankfully, those quakes tend to be fairly minor, though still damaging.

A 9.1 in Japan due to some ultra-secret never-before-leaked technology operated remotely is stupid sci-fi whackjob bullcrap.

It's not outside the realm of possibility. If it is to you, then you need to evaluate your belief system. A bit too stubborn or naive, perhaps? Our govt is saintly and always does what is right and good for humanity, right?

There are several tectonic plates with lots of pressure between the plates... if they, were to say, send a very powerful, concentrated field of energy into those areas and release the pressure.... boom, earthquake.

There are lots of reports from OTHER countries talking about the US earthquake weapon testing.

The government is far too incompetent and leaky to keep the hypothetical fact that they have discovered all the scientific principles and solved the engineering challenges necessary to create a device capable of this, much less executing tests, a secret.

Its not faith in the government, it is my absolute confidence in their collective stupidity and relative uselessness.

They can also pull off 9/11, a feat which would require a huge number of people, without a single insider having the slightest twinge of guilt and run to CBS.

Project gunrunner by the ATF that arguably led to the deaths of a couple border control agents, now that is going too far and the media must be told, but 9/11? meh, carry on, lets blow some sh*t up.

Not "balancing the checkbook" is intentional.

The current economic system will crash eventually, and the new one will be ushered in, which has always been the plan. We are a global economy now... soon to be a global "country" with a global currency. It is just going to take a hard manufactured fall from grace, which is well under way.

And you know this.

Oh, nothing yet. Just 20 minutes after I said it doesn't seem like they have this under control there are reports a meltdown might happen.

That's pretty unlikely at a light water reactor.

'Hamas' Jenkins 03-11-2011 11:43 PM

Just so we're clear: you can have a meltdown without having a Chernobyl type incident.

WoodDraw 03-11-2011 11:44 PM

It should be noted that a meltdown doesn't necessarily mean that any radiation would be released outside, assuming the integrity of the containment building.

tk13 03-11-2011 11:50 PM

Yeah I definitely understand that. Twitter has blown up in the last couple minutes with reports out of Japan that the element cesium has been detected which may mean a meltdown is occuring.

cesium 137 and strontium 90.

They's **** you up good.

tk13 03-11-2011 11:53 PM

I definitely get the whole concept that the building is built to protect the outside world from this stuff... but if there is a meltdown, what about the people working in the facility?

Archie Bunker 03-11-2011 11:53 PM

They are already ****ed.

They've known for 60 years that in the field of Health Physics there is no acceptable level of radiation that is "safe". The doses considered "safe" are really just those with the most palatable risk.

If radiation was 1000x regular levels in the control room, as reported, those people are going to die of cancer. There's really no way around it. They may not get acute radiation sickness, but it's not going to be pretty.

Get a bug out bag. Get some dehydrated food. Get some water filters. Get some protection... invest in silver. Shit is coming.

Think of me what you will. It doesn't matter. But, if you have a family, make sure you have supplies to protect them when the shit hits the fan.

And be friendly to Donger, maybe he will let you in one of their underground bunkers.

Dude.

lol.

Know what really pisses me off about them stoopid fuggers? Our Coast Guard dudes have to risk their own lives to rescue those fools when they get washed in. Two dumbshits trying to get pictures in Oregon got washed out to sea & got rescued by the Coast Guard. Young guys with wives & children at home have to brave tsunamis to fish dumbass idiots out of the water. :cuss:

They didn't misspeak; they really did have advance warning:

Quote:

TOKYO—Some people in Tokyo were warned that a major earthquake was about to hit before they felt a tremor.

As the 8.9-magnitude earthquake struck Japan's northeastern coast, the world's first early warning system—developed by the country's meteorological agency—detected the quake's shock wave near the seismic center and sent off the warning message, which appeared on national television and radio as well as cellphone screens.

In Tokyo, because of its distance from northern Japan, the warning message reached people before the quake actually jolted the capital.

This is rather interesting... if the fallout gets into the gulfstream this is the time frame it would apparently take to get here.

As I said. I had a top secret security clearance. I've seen shit I wish I hadn't. So, excuse me if I don't fully trust the official story.

I served my country, because I care about my country. Those who run are very corrupt, but they are very good at perception management.

You are a very smart fellow, and you are oblivious to this... and that is normal. Most people are completely unaware.

So says from a guy who thought this was biggger then the 04 quake and thought this was the worst natural disaster of all time he was didnt know that after a big quake there a thousands of aftershocks and some of those are big

That's also complete bullshit.

For every seven fold increase in time, you have a tenfold decrease in radiation.

Well whoever the Australian Radiation Services are, they put it together. Pretty graphic though, eh? ROFL

If that map played out, we'd definitely win the AFC West next year. Unless Rivers turns into some kind of radioactive super QB.
