Chili's, maybe... a lot of chicken, some pasta, steak. You get quite a bit of food for the price. I've only been there once, and thought it was pretty good for the price.

In the same realm as Chilis, Ruby Tuesday.. maybe a 'little' nicer.

Marcellus 03-08-2012 06:07 PM

Chik-Fil-A or however its spelled.

Every damn day the 2 drive through lanes are backed up to the street at lunch.

Its just a run of the mill chicken sandwich etc....

I don't get it.

You should go on Sundays. No line.

I'm blessed to have a sublime IHOP near my house. Never had a bad meal [in about 50 trips over the years]. My parents are positively giddy to visit there for breakfast when they visit me.

My grandparents came in from Cali and went to Cheddars. When I asked how it was, they just said "typical midwestern food". I think that's pretty accurate.

These are the same grandparents that would openly galk at overweight people (pointing, whispering, and I don't mean obese, just overweight) and constantly go on and on about how fat everyone was out here.

They sound Awesome!

Rain Man 03-08-2012 06:24 PM

Cool. I was wondering because I was looking at a route for an upcoming trip, and it seems like there's a Cheddar's every mile. I'd never heard of it.

bevischief 03-08-2012 06:25 PM

Perkins.

Elwaysux 03-08-2012 07:06 PM

Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees, Cheddars. I would throw in Steak and Shake based upon their plating. Put the %#&ing fries on the same plate as the burger and it wouldn't look so bad.

Just read in our local paper that the plans for a new Olive Garden have been approved. So tired of the same shit, that will make 3 olive gardens in a 20 square mile vicinity, that just isn't necessary but the ignorant masses will pack that place like mad when it opens. Blah.

My buddies and I took our dates to Golden Corral because we were smart-asses in high school. Looking back on it I kind of feel bad for them, but it sure was funny as **** when I was 17!

My ex-wife and I had our first date with Taco Bell drive through. We were then married nearly 12 years.

Well that is your first mistake. I knew my high school bitch wasn't gonna last so I had fun with it while it lasted!

No my first mistake was asking the bitch out. I think Taco Bell was her choice because it was easy to picnic with on short notice.

See there is your second mistake! Picnics are too romantic. Not first date material. She will expect too much afterwards.....like 12 years of marriage!

Disgruntled_Parent via SR's IP in GA 03-08-2012 11:35 PM

Ruby Tuesdays was a tremendous entry.

whoever said that won the thread.

Trust me lew, nearly 12 years of marriage taught me that every damn thing ever is my mistake and/or fault. God I love being single.

Jesus, let us young guys at least dream about a happy marriage filled with endless cooking, cleaning, laundry and BJs!

Most high school kids have horrible taste in food, and they actually consider Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, and other shitty chains the pinnacle of dining. It's pretty sad.

Historically, the highest staffed days at my work are when Fizoli's is our onsite food vendor. I don't understand it myself. People are literally like 'I know it's supposed to be sunny and 70 on Friday, but Fazoli's is going to be here for lunch.'

I think Chicken Mary's is over-rated. Chicken Annie's is the best.

Mongolian BBQ.

I used to love it...but over the last few years, they've jacked up their prices considerably and got ride of a bunch of sauces etc; smaller bowls - thus more time waiting in line etc.

meh.

Predarat 03-09-2012 02:26 PM

At Cheddars the best dish is the New Orleans Pasta, 2nd is the Lemon Pepper Chicken.

Baby Lee 03-13-2012 10:14 AM

I want to go to there.
