Ron Parker is an American football cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football for Newberry College

booger 09-01-2013 12:44 PM

Will lewis the new director of Pro Scouting comes from Seattle. He knows these guys pretty well. hopefully they help

chief4life 09-01-2013 12:48 PM

“He gets open,” Kaepernick said today. “He’s quick, he’s shifty, he knows how to read defenses and he finds the soft spot … He’s someone that’s easy to throw to. Most of the time he’s open and it’s by quite a bit. As a quarterback, that’s something you love.”

Chad Hall (5-8, 187) has had a strong opening to training camp. He joined the 49ers last year after catching 14 passes for 135 yards with the Eagles from 2010-11.

This is good to hear! He is the one Kaepernick overthrew that was wide open against us.

NFL sources confirm San Diego has claimed Terrell Manning and Kansas City was awarded Dezman Moses per @PeteDougherty

Dezman Moses
Dezman Mirrill Moses is an American football linebacker for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. He was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He played college football at Tulane after transferring from Iowa

the Pack9ersification of the Chiefs begins...

booger 09-01-2013 01:01 PM

if Nico eventually wins they LILB job they can move Jordan to the weak side to back up DJ and have a backup for Nico in James-Michael Johnson

booger 09-01-2013 01:03 PM

That's nice Depth at OLB too with Zombo and Moses.

He didn't show well playing press coverage in the preseason. I'm guessing that's the reason he's out.

These guys are serious about us being a blitz heavy attacking D this year.

All I remember of Jalil Brown was if the offense was desperate for a first down, throw at Brown.

They are definitely taking this shit serious.

Nobody looks safe and it seems that they are being really aggressive in trying to get guys in here that fit the mold.

I can't remember this much activity from a Chiefs front office on final cut day before. A whirlwind where Pioli and Peterson pretty much went on vacation after the final cuts.

It's amazing/glorious to watch a general manager actually manage the team and help them get better at every chance he can. I'm actually somewhat confused to what's going on right now.

Peterson would be in Scotland right now, and Pioli would be busy going over the tapes of last nights outgoing calls from Arrowhead.

with the 49er's defense as tough as it is, I'd sure be interested in their cuts to evaluate . Their cuts could very well be solid backups on other teams,or even more. As far as packers, we seem to have a good inside source in their personal from the last few years. Kind of nice to see all this waiver wire action,,,who is this team people call the Chiefs? (Lol)

That's what I was going to say.
Since we get first shot at waived players, there's no reason why they shouldn't cherry pick and do everything possible to improve the roster. Nice job by Dorsey.

spanky 52 09-01-2013 01:14 PM

Looks like we still need a TE, correct?

booger 09-01-2013 01:14 PM

very strange to make this many moves. But they're in a position just like picking first overall they never hope to be in any time soon. They are taking full advantage. Most teams are scarred to make that many moves. Like it will disrupt comradarie. They don't care because they just got there and are starting fresh

Pioli would preach it, but Dorsey is living it. I love the activity at the bottom of the roster. No excuses, perform or begone.

I'd guess TE OL or FB. Not that I want another FB but they seemed to indicate room for two fbs on the roster when they aquired sherman and drafted wilson. Dorsey said as much. Hopefullly TE though

Heh, I said something nice about McDougald, and thirty minutes later, the Chiefs cut him.

RealSNR 09-01-2013 01:23 PM

Do we have any other sources besides Beverly Twittertwat on some of these cuts?

The Chiefs website won't update until tomorrow most likely, but I'm wondering if we can at least get multiple people reporting the same stuff. This is all very confusing.

Someone like... oh... Teicher would be a good start. But he's probably busy preparing for his next blog article- "Chiefs are no longer run by Scott Pioli". I imagine we'll hear from him next month on the subject of these cuts and new acquisitions.

If you're raiding the waiver wire for defense, San Fran and Seattle cuts are a good place to raid.

Anyong Bluth 09-01-2013 01:34 PM

I'm shocked and don't know why I didn't know that the Chiefs have right to any player over every team and there is no rotational order based on other players claimed.

Saw a retweet by an NFL analyst saying Chiefs and Jags cleaned up taking all the good guys and leaving scraps for the rest of the teams.

I think his expected October signing is injury related.
