Rios sucks wind but I don't know why the whole internet is blaming him for that play. Balls take odd bounces out there off the strange angles, that's just how it goes. How about trying not to give up a double down the line.

DeezNutz 10-12-2015 01:03 PM

Cain has been awful today.

KCCHIEFS27 10-12-2015 01:03 PM

Seriously???! Sit on the god damn breaking ball when you get two strikes!!!

KCUnited 10-12-2015 01:03 PM

Lol it's the same pitch.

KChiefs1 10-12-2015 01:03 PM

This team has nothing today. Looks like a very short stay this postseason.

carcosa 10-12-2015 01:03 PM

Horrible swing by Cain. He looks dead inside as he walks to the dugout.

And then a one pitch out by Hos. ****ing wonderful.

Rasputin 10-12-2015 01:04 PM

Good ****ing God

DeezNutz 10-12-2015 01:04 PM

Royals trying to give McCullers a chance at 7.

Jerm 10-12-2015 01:04 PM

JFC...

RealSNR 10-12-2015 01:04 PM

Every out counts now. Especially when they're outs hit by valuable hitters like Cain.

Gotta get something going.

MTG#10 10-12-2015 01:04 PM

Morales needs to get us back even here

Why Not? 10-12-2015 01:04 PM

I trust Alex Smith more than I trust the Royals ability to score another run

suzzer99 10-12-2015 01:04 PM

Correa's ball is a bit closer to Hosmer... Hosmer gets a little bit more of that ball... we're up 3-2 instead of them.

****ing baseball.

DeezNutz 10-12-2015 01:05 PM

3-5 are lost today. Worst I've seen KM all year.

If he could've thrown that pitch at the center of the plate, the run takes it into the RH batter's box and Correa swings over top of it.

Ventura's curve just never came around today. When it was sharp, it was low. When he found the release point, he didn't find the break. It was either a ball or a cripple pitch and very little in-between.

I don't see how you can have that much angst over the pitch selection itself with as good as Ventura's hard stuff has worked today.

Dude, stfu

Seriously. I am going to destroy the cardinals thread tonight out of pure spite

carcosa 10-12-2015 01:05 PM

They just don't have it today.

Breaking balls outside the strike zone have been the problem all season.

petegz28 10-12-2015 01:05 PM

stick the fork in our season....

Coach 10-12-2015 01:05 PM

Quit swinging at that crap.

Well that's how I feel he is still young and lots of growth to get him strait. I think he will be an ace in do time.

I hope.

Bearcat 10-12-2015 01:05 PM

Maybe he'll throw the breaking ball here?

MTG#10 10-12-2015 01:05 PM

These guys have already mailed it in

Hootie 10-12-2015 01:05 PM

Game is far from over down 1 ... We have a resilient bunch. Just annoyed right now

suzzer99 10-12-2015 01:06 PM

Gotta keep it close.

Just awful.

Hold here. Have to be thinking seriously about Davis with even the hint of trouble.

GloryDayz 10-12-2015 01:06 PM

One team's got spirit, yes they do.

It is.

It's like watching Alex Smith work in the red zone...

I, almost, wouldn't mind if they didn't offer Hosmer a contract. His streakiness has worn thin with me.

Pretty damn good game thus far from my seat...;)

kcjayhawks5 10-12-2015 01:08 PM

Our attracts just aren't very good. McCullers is feeling it right now. Nobody looks like they're even trying to hit the other way

Deberg_1990 10-12-2015 01:09 PM

Our offense has been horrendous.

Cain, Hosmer, Morales, Moose, Gordon . Nothing.

They'll offer him a contract and I'll like him for last season, but I will be far from crushed when he leaves.

thebrad84 10-12-2015 01:09 PM

Just brutal to watch.

carcosa 10-12-2015 01:09 PM

This game has been torture. This series has been torture. Even game 2, in retrospect, served no purpose but to get our hopes up.

I really thought they would loosen up after game 2, and yesterday was pretty intense for a while... this is just sad, but a pop up to left could tie it.

carcosa 10-12-2015 01:14 PM

4 pitch walk, huh.

Molitoth 10-12-2015 01:14 PM

Herrera will Herrera.

ChiTown 10-12-2015 01:15 PM

The F with all with these walks?

suzzer99 10-12-2015 01:15 PM

Great walk Herrera - 99.97% chance that scores.

Have you been watching these at-bats? Not exactly inspiring confidence.

Anything is possible, but a comeback just doesn't feel probable right now.

GloryDayz 10-12-2015 01:16 PM

Didn't the Royals victimize Gregerson in that wild card game last year? And he's the only guy in that Astros pen that isn't just a complete JAG.

There's no reason why the Royals can't scratch a run out against Harris, Qualls, Neshak and Fields. Even Sipp and Perez can be had from the left side and the Royals have hit Gregerson before.

suzzer99 10-12-2015 01:18 PM

No idea why you wouldn't bring McClellan back out.

McCullers

GloryDayz 10-12-2015 01:19 PM

Now swing for the fences. Please!

carcosa 10-12-2015 01:19 PM

Herrera doing his part.

Need a big ****ing inning right here. Moose Dong, Salvy Dong, something. Probably going to have to be another homer because the base hits just aren't happening.

siberian khatru 10-12-2015 01:20 PM

Two runs, two runs! My kingdom for two runs (or more)!

Deberg_1990 10-12-2015 01:20 PM

"Royals have the deepest 1 thru 9 in baseball"

ROFL Who said that????

suzzer99 10-12-2015 01:20 PM

Viagra chick is hoping her Lions fan hubby watching the game downstairs is gonna be in the mood to **** after the game. Good luck with that.

Hootie 10-12-2015 01:20 PM

All we need is Rios or Morales or really anyone to get on base and then we'll unleash Dyson and/or Gore. Just keep it at 1 and we'll at least have opportunities with those guys

KCUnited 10-12-2015 01:21 PM

Concussion doctor is going to be thoroughly confused after watching Perez bat.

siberian khatru 10-12-2015 01:21 PM

Can't believe McCullers is coming back out. Make him pay the penalty.

Gotta get the starter out first.

And if their bullpen runs into the buzzsaw that is the Rios-Escobar connection, well... that's one reason they can't scratch out a run.

carcosa 10-12-2015 01:22 PM

Nice little montage of our horrible strikeouts.

chiefqueen 10-12-2015 01:22 PM

Let's hope this works...

For each Royal coming up to bat this is potentially his last AB of the year now.
