Maybe just YOU in particular`can not "judge talent", and should avoid the Noble and Holy Draft Forum? :D Anywho, I received an email from In58men, and he's wondering what landed him on MU? He seemed pretty laid back on his last venture in to the site? |

What are you laughing at turd burglar, something smells funny? |
So weird that inmen gets banned and treated like shit, but knowmo, franz dickbum, and the 49er goof troop can all run wild unchecked. Dude offers much more than those clowns. This new mod team has some things to fix

There is indeed a certain degree of guilty pleasure in watching someone being banned for no particular reason other than the spur of the moment and just mischief-making in general... i know this from many years of observation and from my interactions with phobia in the early days of my foray into the internet via chiefs planet: it was fun in an evil sort of way, watching people being ****ed with, as long as it wasn't you, but even then most people would play along and not make a big deal over the guy with the big head (have you seen his head?) having a slightly strange, if not downright perverse at times, sense of humor... i'm in that camp that misses phobia and his hilarious antics - you know, "in the good old days everything was all roses and unicorns", or whatever... but things change, people come and go (welcome back fraz!!), new people sometimes bring new attitudes and very different expectations, including looking for a place with a realistic attitude toward our beloved chiefs instead of the ultra-homerism of the other major sites... unfortunately some of the newer people don't seem to be particularly pleased by the treatment they receive from some posters, and many of them came in during the daface era and justifiably expected things to pretty much go on as they were at that time, which seemed to be very thoughtful and mostly invisible moderation in the background unless it became necessary to do what moderators do - moderate when necessary... at this point, i agree with the notion that a change in the situation wrt moderation was needed and i totally agree that all of the new blood are solid posters who have displayed noticeable and notable adult tendencies in their postings and such good judgment will serve them well... however, i'm disappointed that flop, my man of steel, has been promoted to the advisory council.. maybe someone should have talked to him before that decision was made (if in fact they didn' talk to him, i don't know one way or the other)... he didn't seem too happy the other night, and i can't say that i blame him... having said that, my position is full steam ahead with a new mod team that will no doubt "rule" when necessary but never arbitrarily or just because someone feels like screwing around by abusing their otherwise inactive mod powers... you guys have my full support and my deepest sympathies because being a mod is not easy no matter what you do it's wrong to somebody and their friends, all of which will be made more difficult by the current cast of characters around here... and of course, as if that's not enough, it's rumored that claythan is back under a new mult... sometimes it seems to me that the more things change the more (other) things tend to stay the same... (no, i did not coin any part of that saying) carry on... :thumb: tl;dr version: let's go forward together (humming your favorite hippy countercultral song from the mid-sixties)... |

i would be very disappointed if the draft forum were abolished or absorbed into some other sub-forum... i agee with dane on this one, we need to keep draft forum as is; there is nothing needing to be fixed there... |

During the draft season, draft talk should be move to the main lounge to bring more traffic. Of course, all the endless mocks can stay stored in the draft forum all the time. In the draft 'offseason' it all goes back the subforum. CP needs the traffic boost imo Of course, it will never happen because all the draft experts don't want to taint their control over the draft with all of our 'unworthy' draft neophytes posts. Whatever, most of them are assholes anyway. |

Have all the bans (sans trolls and methheads from St. Louis) been lifted? If so, I see no reason why we have mults. If you're Clay, for example, come out and say so, don't hide behind a half dozen aliases.
I see the point of all the draft talk in one forum most of the time. But maybe we could move some of that into the lounge from the SB to shortly after the draft. That might provide more discussions. |

Actually, it was shtsprayer that bypassed the filter by spelling his name without the "i". I was just spelling his name the way it was listed. nlm FYI It looks like he has deleted his entire CP account, but you probably knew that already. ;) |

I went back through this thread and currently have 22 things on the "to do" list. Things won't change overnight, but it's a good list to keep the mods and steering committee on top of areas we should at least consider improving. Thanks again for all the feedback!

DaFace, I also like when you post random CP forum facts.
Once you posted what the highest posting day of the year was, which I think followed a playoff loss or something. That was neat. Anyway can you tell us the highest posting day of 2016? |

The Chiefs Planet "Mult" is a technologically superior and highly persistent specimen. Many Mults were banished from the Chiefs Planet forum due to their outright and brazen distrust of the Kansas City Chiefs football franchise. Considered a threat by the Kool-Aid drinking, Lil' Chiefy sect of Chiefs Planet forum and Kansas City Chiefs fan base, the Chiefs Planet "Mult" is continuously baited and pursued by the softer elements of Chiefs Kingdom in an effort to create a Valhalla-esque "safe space" whereby the (alleged) testicles of Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid and "Quarterback" Alex Smith may be gargled and suckled with peace and tender mercy. Unless someone is violating the TOS, they probably should not have been banned in the first place. In my case, I was banned for using the word "Negro" in a sentence. Several of these bans have occurred on whims and heat of the moment exchanges. If you really want to make CP great again, I would have a thread about the TOS where people could ask questions about the terms, and try to establish what is firm and where there exist "shades of grey". Those shades need to be identified, clarified, and/or eliminated if they can not be given concrete definition. Quote:
