If his dad weren't in the picture a lot of casual fans wouldn't even know who he is. There's a lot of people rooting for him to fail simply because of Lavar.

the #1 pick has been sidelined with an injury.

I've been hearing a lot about smith jr.

Yeah, I'm sure the career ball-stopper and volume scorer who's outside shot has fallen to hell and who needs to occupy the same space as LeBron and Irving will be a great addition.

Oh, and did I mention that he's a soft bitch who has gone from figuratively quitting on his team by refusing to play after being medically cleared, to literally quitting on his team by just...going to hang with his mom for a week mid-season without telling anyone he was going to do it.

Rose should just get sent so some shit team that's not trying to compete so he can chuck up shots with abandon. Y'know, like the Knicks.

KC_Connection 07-20-2017 01:07 PM

Derrick Rose is terrible.

Hammock Parties 07-20-2017 01:09 PM

Jesus, guys. He averaged 18 PPG on .471 shooting last year and made 87 percent of his free throws.

I think he's the perfect guy to bring the ball up the court when LeBron and Kyrie need a blow.

Harsh.

I agree. Definitely would not be a bad signing...

Enough to beat the Warriors? Probably not if they can work out a team friendly deal I think the Cavs would be smart to do it.

They need another superstar to combat Draymond's monstrous 10 ppg/ 7 rpg average.

Have only said the same thing for years. Rose has been awful since 2012. They've rather impressively found a way to downgrade on Deron.

Pitt Gorilla 07-20-2017 02:22 PM

Completely unrelated, but is Thon Maker going to be worth a damn? I didn't think he looked great in summer ball, but I didn't get to see that many games.

RealSNR 07-20-2017 02:59 PM

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2...gins-extension

Probably not a bad idea to get one worked out now if you're the Wolves. Wiggins is currently the least valuable piece between him, KAT, and Butler, but the team might see the most improvement out of him from the Butler trade. He might start earning those Tracy McGrady comparisons this year, and at that point it'll be pretty important to have a deal already in place.

Kyrie Irving is ready to end his run with the Cleveland Cavaliers, as league sources told ESPN that the guard has asked the team to trade him.

The request came last week and was made to Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert. Irving has expressed that he wants to go play in a situation where he can be a more focal point and no longer wants to play alongside LeBron James, sources said.

Is LeBron pushing this? He knows they have no shot vs GS with or without Kyrie and his plan to leave Cleveland for LA next year has been obvious for quite some time. If Kyrie leaves town before him, it certainly makes his inevitable move much more palatable/understandable (for those that care about that sort of thing).

He's a great defensive help teammate. I've never denied this.

His 1-on-1 defense ain't so great.

But to say he's the deciding factor that sets these teams so far apart is laughable. Especially considering his offensive production/turnovers.
