I watched Episode 8 last night and noted that they showed 3 plays from the Chiefs-Niners week 3 preseason game.

First play. San Francisco goes for 4th and short, play call is a pass by Jimmy Garoppolo. Chris Jones knocks down the pass at line of scrimmage while being engaged by blocker.

Second Play- Damien Williams breaks free on short pass for a 62-yd TD reception.

Third play--Patrick Mahomes scrambles inside the 10 yd line and does a late slide and gets hit hard by Jimmie Ward.

All three plays were similar to plays in the Super Bowl, especially the Chris Jones pass defensed and the Mahomes scramble.

Miss this show. It won 3 Emmys tonight!

It won Mid-America Emmys, which are vastly different from the Emmys given to national programs by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

I also wonder if they're short staffed after BJ Kissel left at the last minute. (To be fair, I don't have much of a feel for how the PR/Marketing department is structured, so that could be unrelated.)

That was a fun watch. Starting to feel like football season again.

They do great job with that show. Wylie seems cool as hell. He and Brown are like giant lovable kids. The chemistry in the OL room seems genuine. Love Brown’s attitude. I’m hyped up for the season.

That extended intro was a epic all by itself, almost thought it would end there as a teaser/short opening episode

The fact that he can walk up to pat, Clyde, and Kelce and ask for an auto is amazing. I love that he streams too. Playing Halo with Remmers was hilarious.

It was cool to see extended time with Mahomes though, mic'd up and interviewed. Also like the part with Bolton. But yeah, Mecole bowling...

But, they are kinda filling time I guess. This show started slow the first season too. I just think the production is awesome and it's always kinda neat to see the players in their own element.

Hopefully they will spotlight Trey Smith and Chris Jones, both having outstanding camps.

They'll probably have a whole episode on the punter...;)

It definitely feels like they are filling time. Half of episode 1 revolved around Wylie and his card collecting and this one focused on Hardman and his bowling. So far it has been underwhelming in comparison to Season 1.

I dont recall Season 1's episodes being so short...

Apparently the true pronunciation is "Kels," but his dad just got tired of correcting people back in the day and just started going by "Kel-see." So the family has pronounced it the latter for Travis's entire life.

In short, Kels is both a nickname and the proper pronunciation of his last name, but the NFL's official pronunciation guide almost certainly will remain "Kel-see."

Now that was a great episode.

- Loved seeing everyone fired up at "home of the CHIEFS"
- Loved seeing Thornhill being vulnerable about his injury and the return year, you could tell he was getting choked up and how much it all means to him
- One call out to make note of: Andy saying he "loves that kid" talking about Gore. Will be interested to see if he gets called up if there's an injury to any of the RB's.
- Was cool to see Jody getting geeked out about making the team.

I love it.
