No. I will not count out what super HGH, a blood seance, and help from the refs could still do for Tom at this stage. I mean, how many threads have we made here in the last ten years dancing on Tom's NFL grave and saying he is finally done.

It is not over for this guy until it is OVER.

Fine! I'll go murder him! Jeez!!!

Tom Brady is really Tom Cruise from Interview with a Vampire.

KC_Connection 10-24-2022 12:27 AM

Bucs are still the 4th favorite to win the SB right now after the Bills, Eagles, and Chiefs. Vegas knows what the refs are capable of when he gets in the playoffs.

Red Dawg 10-24-2022 12:43 AM

Tom won't quit unless the Bucs say no thanks and every team does the same to a 46 year old QB next year.

Maybe Brady needs a redass head coach to keep him humming

Brady and Rogers both look like they missed the retirement limo and now are waiting for the city bus.

I'm not convinced he's hit the Father Time wall just yet, but.. idk.

Still a lot of time to correct their issues. We'll see.

Still convinced that he didn’t need the preseason? ROFL You idiots that were acting like he could just coast with his “superior talent” and didn’t need training camp are looking pretty dumb now. Anyone who understands how much work goes into each game knew this was coming. If Brady thinks he’s good enough to coast to the playoffs without putting in the effort he used to put in, he’ll continue to get owned by XFL level QB’s.

Right. But he still has the easiest schedule known to mankind and are still winning their division. If he shows up for work and puts in a Peter Gibbons level effort he’s still going to the playoffs and will then show up for work in a real way.

I’m looking at the schedule…when does it get easier than a last place team using a 3rd string QB, and an interim head coach, the same week they put out flyers to the rest of the league that they were having a fire sale? I don’t think you all have been watching much of this Bucs team this season. It looks like a team with a QB uninterested in practicing during the week. They should not be favorites against anyone the rest of the way. They’ll win some, but they are not clear favorites over anyone. If losing to the Steelers and Panthers in back to back weeks hasn’t shown some of you that, I don’t know what will.

Yeah, the NFC is horrible this year. The Bucs will likely still win their division, and who will stop them in the playoffs? The Seahawks? Vikings? Eagles look to be the best bet but if the Bucs can somehow steal the #2 seed, they may not have to face them until the NFCCG.

We're 8 weeks into the season. The whole "they needed to make use of preseason" arguments die out by week 4 at the absolute latest.

It appears to be more than that. It's the missing every Wednesday, missing Friday before gameday to go to Kraft's wedding, WR injuries, OL sucks, defense is not nearly as good as advertised, maybe the divorce is affecting Tom in some way..

oldman 10-24-2022 07:38 AM

Forgotten in the mix are the Giants and Cowboys. G-men are 6-1 and the Boys are 5-2.

Ironic how he feasted for years on a weak ass AFC East and then as soon as the division started to get tough he bailed for a team in another weak ass division.

At least it's not working out so well for him now with a fading team and his fading skills and his apparent fading interest.

Yeah, they look solid thus far, but only one team can win that division and that team will likely take the #1 seed. The others will be fighting for the #5 and #6 seeds.

Plus the Cowboys have played the Bucs twice in the last two years, with a healthy Dak, and have not been able to beat them. Maybe next time will be different, but I won't hold my breath.

Dallas Defense is legit.. They get ****ing sacks. Offense shouldn't of let Amari go tho.

ThaVirus 10-24-2022 08:06 AM

And, yeah, I will just never discount how unfathomably lucky this man is.

Guy's played in 3 seasons worth of postseason games and his defenses have only given up more than 30 points 5 times.

The Tuck Rule, 28-3, coin flip in the AFCCG @ KC, Malcolm Butler's goal line INT, Jared Cook's fumble in the 2020 Divisional , defense only gives up 3 points vs the Rams in the 2018 SB, Chiefs entire OL dies before the 2020 SB, Cam Akers trying to fumble the game away in the 2021 Divisional.

He's rarely been on the losing side of lucky postseason plays. Only ones I can think of are whenever he plays against Eli and the Brandon Graham FF in the 2017 SB.

There was another playoff game when the Ravens WR dropped a perfect pass from Flacco in the end zone that would have won them the game.

Was that the Lee Evans game? IIRC, I believe he dropped two TDs that day, but I could be remembering wrong.

Dallas defense is really good, I agree. Their team is solid.

I'm not sure about the Giants yet. I think I've read that all of their wins are by one score. That sort of luck is likely to run out at some point.

He's hurt. I'd bet it has something to do with the sack from L'Jarius and how he landed on his right shoulder. Just watching the game highlights in the Rich Eisen clip above you can see his velocity and his accuracy are off. Run the highlights from our game vs. TB from before that sack, and then watch today's game.

That first throw to Evans in the EZ was overthrown, but it was also slightly off-target, and that is a textbook Tom Brady throw. You could probably count on one hand the number of times he's missed that throw at that distance. That little out route was not just low, but wide. Come to think of it, he looked slow to pull the trigger several times as well, and that's really unusual.

He won't hold up without her witchcraft. Her blood sacrifices of teenage boys is what is keeping him young.

Guy has a ****ing horseshoe lodged firmly up his ass.

You also forget the blown call on the fumble return against Jacksonville. They lose if it's called correctly.

I hate to see people get divorced for such dumb reasons but this could destroy him

Nah, it's not going to destroy a guy that obviously loves football a lot more than his family.

He can’t play forever. The end is near for him. He said it himself.

Once he retires he will regret this

I'm sure, with the benefit of hindsight (especially if they don't even make the playoffs), he'll have some regrets.

But right now, in the moment? I'm sure he'll be just fine, he wants to play football. He doesn't really care how she feels about it, obviously.

Unlikely. He loves what he's doing and he'll have a new woman in a couple months.

It's official by the way. Brady posted on Instagram that they've agreed to part ways "amicably".

This is enjoyable.

He's having the worst season of his career and his Supermodel wife boots his ass.

**** Tom Brady.

Now that the wife is gone, Brady is going to play football another 10 years.

Karma's a bitch and then she divorces you.

He's gonna retire after the season and have a 22 year old model on his arm instead of the 42 year old one he already had. He still wins.

Eh, if the divorced finalized today, it means they've been apart and it's been filed for months. So that theory doesn't hold.
