OBJ nor any other lineman was to blame for Patrick's injury. Our Oline had one of its best games if you rewatch the game. They played exceptionally well in the second half and I hope they do so this week as well.

I can't believe this would be a current. They just had an orthopedic doctor on ESPN basically saying he should be in a boot and he shouldn't be putting weight on it this week. Yet, he's not doing any of that. Wasn't in a boot in the press conference, and is reportedly if these photos are correct working out on it. The exact opposite of what this doctor is saying to do. She also didn't seem very optimistic he would be very effective.

No idea what the truth is but literally all available evidence whether it’s how it improved during the game, how it looked after the game, the reports we got the day after the game, or the (alleged) pictures of him working out all point a lot more toward the latter.

I know that Reid keeps Mahomes on a tight leash during the playoffs and forbids him from going out to socialize at any point during the week if he has a game the following weekend. So it’s hard to believe they’d be playing this fast and loose.

I think the media is setting this thing up in favor of us. This is a Mahomes legacy boost. The ankle is fine. He is going to come out on Sunday and do the same crazy shit he does week in and week out. It will be a legendary performance. The sprain has been blown out of proportion and I am perfectly fine with all of it.

Now though they get the guys out there pushing it and getting them to work on the ankle. He said that blood flow is the key to healing the injury and that the training staff will have him work it as much as possible, but not to a point that will make it worse.
