Broken nose courtesy of Bolton. Won't impact his availability. Probably make him more attractive to women that commonly make bad life decisions though . . .

Something i noticed, and have not verified at all, but it looked like the Bengals OL was a lot bigger than the Bills DL. Gotta wonder if that is in fact the case, and if that had something to do with why they got their shit pushed in.

Our DL is not little.

I agree with your analysis otherwise. Gives me some hope.

The Bengals, on paper, may very well be the better team. But the Chiefs have everything you need: a team rallying around their beloved QB, a GOAT caliber QB willing to die on the field if it gets them the win, good counter-punch options on offense across the board, a defensive line playing very loose, the best linebacker corps we've had in the 21st century, and a ton of young, hungry talent in the secondary.

This isn't the best Chiefs team of all time, but it's probably Top 8. And with Mahomes out for blood, they're going to punch above their weight.

I trust Burrow and the Bengals to roll with the punches and deliver their own haymakers, but I don't think this is going to be a route either way unless Mahomes goes ham.

Top 8? Just by the fact Mahomes plays on on it makes it top 5 by default.

Hmm. Might be something there. Never noticed that.

Personally, I think Von Miller was the Bills pass rush. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but they really don't have anybody else on their DL that is better than average EDGE. There's some significant variance as to whether Rousseau is a top 15 EDGE or closer to 25, but Shaq Lawson is definitely not in the top-28, as far as I can tell.

As for their actual size, both are over 6'4" and 265 lbs.

Well, their DTs aren't that big. Oliver is 287, D. Jones is 320, they have 2 sacks apiece for the season.

I'm excited to see how the run D looks with Brandon Williams working in against the Bengals. He adds even more size there.

I also think Jones at E against Adenijiy on the right side of the OL could be a matchup that's advantageous.

Wasn't very impressed by the rushing defense against Jacksonville. They gave up 144 yards on 7.6 yards per carry. That's rough.

Is CIN still without three of their starting OL for this game? Not sure exactly how accurate it is, but ESPN has their LT, RG, and RT as OUT.

Well, so many people here think Spags carries the team, so I am sure that Spags and his genius scheme of not sacking Burrow and single covering Chase will win the game.

Maybe you should check out some threads, or comments from Meck and Staylor.

The way they praise Spags, they make it out like Mahomes is so lucky to have had Spags as his DC, or who knows how bad the Chiefs would be.

When I use stats, and facts, to talk about how bad parts of the defense are, they are quick to say Spags is a magician and the reason we won the game against the Jags.

It's Torbert for the Cincy & Chiefs game. He was the ref in the first loss to Cincy and had some pretty questionable calls that helped Cincy. Scroll to the bottom where it shows the list of refs from that game.

Williams LT and Cappa RG listed week to week. Guy who subbed last week at LT Carman is a high pick and played well against the Bills, projected as guard. Other backup was demoted to start the season for an upgrade but started last year. Doesn't seem like a huge fall off.

Not likely. I was listening to NFL Dr. David Chao earlier on NFL radio and he said Collins is obviously out, and the other 2 are doubtful. Said it’s possible they suit up in the case of an emergency but won’t play.

Cincy should be the favorites. They've won 3 in a row against KC. Their QB is not injured. They have a better roster around him too. Better defense, same guys that held a pretty good Buffalo offense to 10 points and they had that 99 yard fumble return TD on the Ravens. Same defense forced 5 turnovers in a row on Tom Brady. Same defense pulled off that crafty strip fumble on Kelce.

If only Patrick could go against the Chiefs defense instead of the Cincy defense. It's a team game.

Cincy has the better defense, maybe even by a wide margin based on some of the stuff I've seen them do this season. 5 straight turnovers on Tom Brady. Clutch strip fumble on Kelce when they really needed it. Clutch 99 yard fumble return on the Ravens when they really needed it. Holding Buffalo's explosive offense to only 10 points.

LMAO

On a monumentally stupid ****ing play by Huntley. There's absolutely no chance you'd be giving the Chiefs D credit for that, in fact, you'd be pointing to it as an example of the Chiefs D getting lucky.

If I'm going to have to read you blatantly sucking the Bengals dick like this all week, I'm going to have to put you on ignore. It's only been 24 hours and you are already unbearable with this horseshit.

Also, the Bengals were down like 17-3 at halftime to Tom Brady while the Chiefs went in there and kicked their ass from the opening KO.

KC had a similar play against the Chargers earlier this season. It was a great defensive play, but it was also lucky for the team. Mahomes played quite poorly in that game and was bailed out by the Herbert Pick 6. And yes it was lucky for Cincy to get that crazy play on the Ravens.

But it has been a pattern with that Cincy defense. Every time they need something big to happen, their defense pulls a rabbit out of the hat. They were down 17-0 to Tampa. Suddenly 5 straight turnovers by Tampa offense. They were down to KC in the 4th quarter with KC moving the ball. Suddenly the Bengals pulled off the strip fumble on Kelce. They were in deep trouble against the Patriots and pulled off another strip fumble when they really needed it. And of course the crazy play against the Ravens when they were in deep trouble once again. In the case of Buffalo, they just kicked their ass. Very impressive to hold Buffalo to 10 points.

I see a consistent pattern of a Cincy defense pulling off pretty incredible stuff, while the media is very lazy and gives all the credit to Joe Burrow.

There's absolutely nothing incredible about a dumb ****ing backup QB putting the ball out there to be slapped out of his hands when he was nowhere near the goaline dude.

It's not even comparable to an interception at the goaline. Not even remotely close.

However you want to label it, stuff like that keeps happening for Cincy's defense when they really need it to happen. They were in deep trouble late in the game against the Patriots, Chiefs, & Ravens. All 3 of those games flipped on massive turnovers forced by Cincy's defense. They were in deep trouble down 17-0 to Brady, and suddenly Brady's offense commits 5 straight turnovers. I don't like the fact Burrow is being given credit for this stuff. It is eerily reminiscent of Brady riding the coattails of Belichick's defense in the early days of his career.

Yup and the Chiefs don’t have top draft picks to draft a Nick Bos, Joey Bosa, Micah Parsons, etc.

They’re built on a good players. And it’s good enough.

We’ve lost to this team by 3 points each game and the offense was the main reason we lost the last 2

No? They still have a legitimate gripe for how badly they got ****ed over in that situation. The fact they ass blasted the Bills in their own turf doesn't change that.

It is moot now.....fake outrage at this point. Just like you won't hear a peep out of me about Atlanta any more. What's the point?

Yea I think the point is that they're STILL going on about it.

They had a legitimate gripe last week. They are trying to spin this into kc disrespecting them because people bought tickets to Atlanta. As if they weren’t buying up tickets in the event they played Jacksonville.

It’s corny. Burrow made one memorable quote and now they think it’s some kind of hilarious shtick.

They got dicked over. But they would have played 3 games no matter what. They would have played in kc at one point or another. The path they ended up led to 2 victories. This game has little to do with anything that happened. I feel like they shot their wad over the last game and are trying to reinvent that same spark they had last week. This is a pretty lame attempt at it.

It seems like Bills are not very good playing in a snow game with light winds against the Bengals.

Bengals are more beatable than the “crowd’ is making them out to be.

Chiefs need to play physical.

They’re trying to prepare for the narrative that they won because mahomes was hurt. Already looking past us and trying to play the sob story that they’re disrespected. So that’s gonna cut extra deep when they lose to mahomes even not at 100%.

I’m usually pessimistic as hell but man I have such an oddly good feeling about this game…I think we’re gonna see the best version of the Chiefs Sunday that we’ve seen all year.

The smack talk from the Bengals, the premature crowning of their asses, the Chiefs as underdogs, REVENGE…all of it is just lining up.

I totally get it, but the only thing keeping me from feeling this way is the Mahomes injury.

I know the reports have been positive, but a HAS is a HAS.

They can try to spin it however they want. MRI confirmed a high ankle sprain. Nobody is 100% healthy in a week from that injury. Maybe 4 weeks of proper rest and treatment. Would be hilarious if he lights up their defense even with the injury slowing him down.

My ****ing mom has never talked to me about football before and she just asked if I watched the snow game and if I was afraid of the Bengals.

This is akin to the late 1920s when the shoe shine boy was giving stock tips right before the market crashed and the Great Depression began.

Nothing will be sweeter than taking these ****ers out at their alleged apex. Even if we lose it’s worth it to have a shot at this narrative.

The injury is a built-in excuse so it takes some of the edge off.

You know that you can feel better about a loss because Mahomes’ wasn’t 100%.

That's... kind of worse. LMAO

They played up to their potential in the Raiders game. Yeah, it's the Raiders, but they were ****ing on point. And prior to Mahomes' injury, they were on point the other night.

Also... he should know, who give a shit about the regular season? The Patriots were notorious for bad starts and some bad December losses.

Hell, I'd respect it more if he said "they lost to two of the three real contenders they played all season".

Glad I don't follow him on twitter, I guess... oof.

LMAO

I'll be super ****ing annoyed all next year if it's "Bengals have won 4 in a row against the Chiefs!"

Hell, I don't give a shit about 0 for 3. Don't collapse in the 2nd half of last year's AFCCG, it's 1-2 and nobody gives a shit about the regular season losses. And they not only collapsed in the 2nd half, they won the freakin' toss and still ****ed it up.

But, whatever... 0-3 or maybe 1-2. Meh.

There would be zero footnotes for 0-4 though. It wouldn't be "0-3 and they also beat Mahomes when Mahomes only had one ankle"... nope, it's 0-4. And a chance to be 0-5 at some point in the regular season.
