Hope the victims make a quick & full recovery. Since the injuries are “minor” according to the cops, this now appears to be a situation where the cover-up is worse than the crime. How deep is the trouble when you run from the cops in this situation?

Probably some hefty fines and please do some minor misdemeanors if he was racing and left. If they can prove he was drinking, definitely more serious. 6:20 PM would make you think he wasn't, but he should be turning himself in if he wasn't drinking or high. What an idiot, but if he was drunk he was smart to leave and is smart to lay low until he's sober. Can't prove he was drunk without a BAc reading, its about minimizing the charges at this point. If he talks to cops when he is sober he can either say he fled "i was scared wasn't thinking" or can claim he was never driving the car. The former would lead to a fleaing the scene charge but probably pled down and it just becomes a non story he gets a few games suspension and whatever. If he claims his car was stolen or something then he could get away with it completely.

There is the possiblity that he wasn't driving at all. I would think though that he would have come out by now to clear things up but there is a chance his lawyers said nah let us communicate just in case. I hav known idiots who have done this completely ****ed up and nothing happened bc they got home and cops couldn't prove anything.

The original comment was that Rashee was in one of the cars based on witnesses reports. Also, Rashee left his drivers license and a jersey in the car.

He did say there might be a serious injury to a victim, but thankfully the latest report says minor injuries.

This is only in regard to the state. You're not actually innocent until proven guilty. The state cannot punish you until they have given you due process and you've been found guilty. Jalen Carter helped kill 2 people last year while driving in a reckless manner with a suspended license. He fled the scene of the crime. The NFL did not punish him in any way. If the league office gives Rice a huge suspension, that sure looks like a bad double standard applied in these 2 cases. They set the wrong precedent last year by not punishing Carter.

Yea people need to relax,he's not going to jail, he may be suspended a few games after it all settled which is probably next year.

Had a friend in college get pulled over drunk and had a hammered girl in the passenger seat. Jerked the car off the road and fled on foot. Reported the car stolen that night. When the cop showed up at our house he kept asking over and OVER again if he wanted to proceed with report of stolen vehicle.

Long story short, he went ahead with the report and there was enough evidence in court to show he was the driver. False report and alluding official acts worse than just taking the DUI. Pretty sure he did 2-3 weeks in jail.
