He ran a 4.34 forty ten years ago. He probably runs a 4.4 now. Again, he's probably the fastest DB on our roster.

He was a good signing imo. You are just knit picking one small part of what I said.

I'd go with the extra safety, personally, since a week isn't an ideal amount of time to throw a player onto the field.
This is what really disturbed me about our CBs. It's really bad news when after your nickel CB, your best option is probably your safety (at least in the near term).

Aren't all practice squad players developmental guys?

Okay, I take that back. SHOULDN'T they be developmental guys? I mean, i can't remember the last player the Chiefs sent through their practice squad who eventually graduated out of it and landed on the 53-man roster as a pretty good player.
