As far as I’m concerned the Bills and Bengals should be doing everything they can to get both of their final games in before the playoffs. If not they don’t get to just have a chance at a “win.”

We're getting Cheffers for the Raiders game and first playoff game, aren't we?
|
The game will be played IF the Bill's beat the Pat's and the Bengals win their game. If neither wins its only a 2/3 seeding issue as we would have the 1 seed wrapped up
|
I heard that the NFL will settle this via a dogfight of whatever did the flyover at each stadium during the last home game.

Bills and Chiefs common opponents are Bengals, Titans and Rams.
If games are deducted from Chiefs and Bills records, why not all common opponents since Bills did not have to risk losing to Bengals? |
So if this absurd thing actually happens and it picks a Chiefs home game can lobby for a refund on my tickets since it technically did not happen?

This would be an unprecedented situation and there’s no reason to go for a solution that would have the least clarity and definable justification. I’ll give 5:1 odds if anyone wants to bet on that outcome. |
Just simulate the game on Madden.
That will satisfy everyone, even the fantasy football guys. |
You have an extra week between conference title games and Super Bowl. Move the playoffs back a week and finish the Buffalo/Cincy game before playoffs.

Maybe the most anti-competitive proposal I’ve ever heard. We don’t even do that in our little leagues. |

We'll just need a couple of days for cdcox to make some "updates" to the code. |
Bengals will win the division even if they lose to the Ravens based off win %. Ravens 11-6 and Bengals 11-5. Even though Ravens beat them twice.
