Paul will probably be just fine as a 3rd man on the team.

I'm taking whatever CP3 has left over Jordan Poole on a team with a window as small as theirs. |
BTW, I don't like the Marcus Smart deal either for Boston. They just made an already soft team exponentially softer.

Porzingis to the Celtics but they gave up Marcus Smart. I'm not sure it's worth it.
|
They also got some picks back that could help them. Seems like they kind of had to do something vs. just running mostly the same team back.
|
The best part of the smart deal is it puts to rest the Draymond Green rumors to the Grizz that was about to make me puke.
Smart is obviously an upgrade to Brooks simply because he knows his role and embraces it. I’m excited to see the defense next season. Got the past 2 DPOTY and one of the best offensive rebounders in the game if Adams can come back healthy. |
Wtf does OKC need Cason Wallace for?
Could have gotten an elite shooter in Dick or Whitmore at #12 ****in stupid |
Yeesh. Charlotte fans are Uber butthurt about the Miller pick.
|
KCC has to like that
|
KCC gets Dick in Toronto
|
Certainly works for me at #13. Raptors have needed a shooter for years now and Gradey is one of the best pure shooters I've ever seen. I still think he is Kyle Korver at worst with a Klay Thompson-like ceiling. He's got a long career ahead of him.

Jalen Wilson to the Nets at 51.
Good for him. Probably won’t last, but getting drafted at all is a hell of an accomplishment. |

A third GOAT just entered the conversation with MJ and LeBron:

CP3 is 100% finished. Also don't like the guy the Warriors drafted, he can't play defense and will struggle to score. This really should have been the time to blow it all up.

He played PG at UK out of necessity but is better at SG. He can score and is a great on-ball defender. Having SGA run point with Cason at SG is going to be lethal. |

It's like the movie "23" and everything keeps coming back as LeBron. Jordan Poole traded+Udonis Haslem retiring+Chris Paul being a sixth man = LeBron's 5th Championship. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/HsKHlhSbUz4/maxresdefault.jpg |
Free agency starts tomorrow. Should be interesting.

Dame is the domino that needs to fall at least from what I've gathered. Also, new CBA is about to wreak havoc on cap folks around the league.

LMAO
Great name change. |
It's courtesy of mod abuse by DaFace. Granted, can't say I'm too hung up on it. Pretty ****ing funny.
|
So where is James Harden gonna end up next year? Maybe the better question is, does anyone care at this point?

I also think it could be argued Smart's intangibles mattered far more to that team than anything he was actually doing on the court. I'd be worried about where that is going to come from now on a team that already was struggling in that regard. That team was soft as hell as it was. |

Tired of the insanely unlikely trade rumors. Just saw a scenario where Phoenix would trade Devin Booker to the Mavs for Kyrie. Not going to happen but if it did Luka would be leading the first Father-Son backcourt.

Dray got paid. 4 year $100 million.

Damn Bruce Brown 2 year $45 million from the Pacers.

Toronto is still a treadmill team going absolutely nowhere until they engage in a real rebuild though. Siakam is the last remaining piece of that championship team and he's got to go. |

Also, I don't understand what the Lakers are doing again. They let Schroder go (he's Raptors-bound) and signed Gave Vincent? Schroder was one of the few playable guys they even had in the playoffs.
Guessing we'll see a D'Lo return too. Awful. |
Thank you NBA for having NBA summer league next week. There is nothing ****ing happening in the sports world right now except for ****ing baseball - which is awful.
Can't wait. Great decision for the NBA to really focus on summer league and getting alot of the top picks to actually play. It's a great break for some basketball. |

EuroLeague G Vasilije Micić – one of Europe’s best and most accomplished players – has agreed on a 3-year, $23.5M deal to join the Thunder, Jason Ranne of @Wassbasketball tells ESPN. A two-time EuroLeague champion and an MVP, Micic brings a significant skillset and IQ to OKC.
https://www.basketball-reference.com...e-micic-1.html This after the Thunder acquired Victor Oladipo and drafting Cason Wallace. They going to try to trade for a star? I guess they did need to do something to get to the salary floor. |
