Correlation ain't causation, especially when it comes to mental health and allergies. Jesus a lot of people with weird dietary strictures such as vegetarianism choose that diet because they HAVE allergies.

I used to make fun of the fact that a lot of people who come to our natural food store look sick as hell. One of my friends finally said "That's because they ARE sick as hell and are shopping there in hopes of improving their condition."

It was a long winter and I've done no real fitness training. Here's my general fitness. Cholesterol 173 mg/dl, Triglycerides 335 mg/dl and Glucose is 120 with 126 being diabetic. Doc said no meds and I'm supposed to take care of it through diet and exercise and I have 6 months to do it. I think I can do it faster then that.

I Read that wrong in the first few paragraphs. Seems there are stimulants in it but not listed until later?

I got ya, I just meant I don't get the buzz or crash from most of the rest. Just an even focus through out.

STORY TIME! I went to the store during my lunch hour to buy a pair of jeans so that I would have at least one pair that fits me for right now. I go to the plus size, pick out a 16W, take them to the dressing room, put them on, and THEY WERE BAGGY! I put them up, and went to the "normal" size section. I found a 16 there (not W) that fit me perfectly, as well as a size 14 in dress slacks. As I walked out of the plus size section, I thought to myself, "Good riddance!" I NO LONGER SHOP IN THE PLUS SIZE SECTION! This actually made me more giddy than when I weighed under 200lbs for the first time.

I still have fat arms, but that little baby muscle didn't use to be there when I flexed.

LOL

Thanks. It's a start. Seeing a little definition in my quads too, but not too much yet. Still have a ton of fat to burn!

That's a noticeable difference. Good work.

I'm amazed by Silock and some of the others progress.

I'm not posting a photo for a while - but I'm doing well, not increasing quite as quickly as most of you - but I'm steady.

Additionally I tried some of the 'swinging' exercises via kettlebell - and it irritated my shoulder - nothing tremendous - just annoying.

I really wouldn't recommend that anyone use kettlebells of any substantial weight without instruction, preferably RKC or StrongFirst instruction. It's very easy to harm your shoulders if you don't pack them properly or are using your arms too much in swings.
