The way you feel about Flowers is the way you should feel about Hali.

That is how I feel about Hali.

I'd love to keep him for a 3yr deal that averages between 4-5m per and have no interest in keeping him at 12m.

Flowers was great in the locker room, too. Same as Hali.

Flowers' play last year established that he was still a good player. It would have helped the Chiefs significantly to have a player of his caliber around instead of a bunch of suckass FAs who contributed nothing.

It is funny to me how media outlets and people on this site state that Flowers wasn't a good fit for Sutton's defense, which played much more zone this year (not unlike San Diego).

How would having Flowers have helped "significantly" last year?

Would we have improved from the #1 pass defense to #0.5 defense or something?

I don't know if he would have helped significantly or not. Most likely, no. I don't disagree with the cut either (in regards to saving money and getting younger players snaps).

It's just irritating when people say Flowers sucks or isn't a fit for this defense because it isn't true.

Yeah the Chiefs really missed Flowers last year. Get ****ing real people you are equal to the 9-11 truthers on the Ron Paul board.

No one really needed to pass on KC when the running defense was allowing the likes of Kerwin Williams to get 100+ yards.

LMAO

This.

Our defense played great last year, and this is coming from a guy that wanted Sutton to be drawn and quartered after the playoff meltdown.

We had the #2 passing defense last season, FYI.

This. Flowers was a better than average Corner for us for a lot of years.

But it's okay; this Maclin move screams "franchise O-line, here we come"!

We're goin' places, Mable!

Sean Smith more than made up for the fragile midgets departure

Sean Smyth is a flash in the pan who will begin his Suck Train this season.

And no, Don Cornelius will not be hosting.

Deberg_1990 03-07-2017 08:33 PM
