Teams are game planning against Hill and Watkins is getting open.

Albert ****ing Wilson and Robinson get "NFL open" enough for Mahomes to make JAGs look like great WR's.

Watkins is replaceable because Elite QB's read the defense pre-snap and find the open guy... whether he runs a 4.3 or is a slow ass fullback running down the sideline.

Patriots this year dispel that.

On a side note, I bet Dez Bryant would sign right now for cheap.

I wouldn’t go that far. Watkins is a really good player. Can’t punish him for benefitting from those around him.

He runs good routes, has caught the ball well, and is dynamic with or without the ball in hand.

Until Tom Brady retires, I'm not counting him out.
We've seen this story before.

Oh, don't take that the wrong way... I'm saying in a couple of seasons if the Chiefs desperately need money, Watkins can be the guy to go rather than Tyreek. (If we have to cut into our offense).

Otherwise, take a hike Berry and Houston.

It’s early but Bowles is rumored to be on the hot seat already yet they are supposedly interested in the Steelers Bell. It’s early season crazy which is normal but don’t run away and deny our need at S. Be loud and maybe somebody else has a S worth a shit they would consider moving if the Thomas deal doesn’t play out. He tried to get Hitchens last year knowing his contract was up. One of his first calls as GM. So think about it that way that he’s not afraid to try to fill a need with a trade. You think he and Reid had their thumbs up their ass when Roseman and Peterson had the ride they had last year? They will be aggressive and so will Clark they are a bit jealous deep down who wouldn’t be?

Paylor says the Chiefs just want the price to come down...

Agreed. I think if terms were reasonable for Veach, Thomas would've been a Chief in August.

It probably won't get done then.

Probably. But I would still explore it if he’s dead set on eventually winding up in Dallas

**** that. Dude is acting like a whiny bitch in Seattle over not being paid.

pugsnotdrugs19 09-24-2018 04:27 PM

Seattle needs to be reasonable here. The team they trade with also has to pay him. He’s 29, not 25.

That shouldn’t warrant a 1st round pick, and I’d love to see the deal done somehow. But let’s be real.

That’s the unknown is what’s the price though? I’m thinking it was Dallas hung up on going no higher than 3 and basically talking there selves out of the deal if it’s higher than that. So start with a 2. I think all this other shit is noise and BS from Seattle. He’s also a pain in their ass right now so they need more interest to be dealing from a position of strength right now
