Confirmed from where?

This just sounds like one of those stories that pops out of stuff like this that is not true.

Kind of what I thought as well, but hey.

Yeah, I hope it's not true and if it is it's very sad.

But, this sounds too much like those virus hoax emails.

"Microsoft and AOL have confirmed that this is the worse virus ever and it will melt your hard drive. This has been confirmed on Snopes!"

Hey now, that's where the maphia from Frontenac dump their dead bodies. Think of someplace else.

I drove down Main last night north to south.... on the way home from work. First time since the tornado. It's sad, but I told my wife as we were driving along, that I couldn't even remember what was there before the tornado. We were probably around 24th or 25th. You take so much for granted.

This morning, as I was getting ready for work, it dawned on me what I didn't see. El Vaquero mexican restaurant (which I loved), Arby's, Daylight Donut, and I know there were several homes in there.

I know. It's amazing how you can live in a town virtually your whole life, get in the center, and be totally lost, with no sense of direction.

speaking of which, how are you and yours holding up?

We're fine. I just feel so bad for those affected. There may be 50,000 that live in Joplin, but it's small enough, that just about everyone has a loved one that was personally impacted by the tornado, or knows someone that was.

I'm glad I didn't know the severity of the tornado, as it was happening. If I had, I would have been shittin bricks. My neighbor was in our basement, and he had a scanner, so we could hear the LEOs and their frantic calls on the radio, but it still didn't register until I saw the damage.

How are you doing?
