Yep.

It would be one thing if Barkley just didn't want to throw.

But if there's question marks about his shoulder, not throwing is going to make those questions just that much bigger.

I just wish they'd all throw and be done with it.

But they won't.

ya if there is ANY doubt about his shoulder it's better to not rush it for sure.
I would just like to see them all side by side and throwing to the same receivers all next to each other..

Oh well what do you do

It's better not to rush it for sure.

But if he's not healthy after all this time, that's a knock too.

He's really in a no-win situation.

Its a knock that a broken bone takes 12 weeks to heal?

Come on man.

Didn't know he broke a bone. Thought it was a shoulder problem?

Chiefnj2 02-01-2013 03:42 PM

The team reported it as an AC sprain when he couldn't play in the bowl game.

Lesson for all college players:

If you're projected to be a top 10 or even top 15 pick.... GO! There's no need to go back to school for your senior year.

This.

Even more, if you are told you are a sure fire first rounder, go.

fairladyZ 02-01-2013 03:45 PM

yes AC Sprain, no broken bones, no surgery. Which is surprising it's taking this long to heal.

I'm leaning towards its more precautionary to make sure he's at his absolute best since he had such a long time before he was able to start throwing again. Working at IMG he probably wants to get as much work done as possible before he goes out there and displays it infront of people deciding his future.

Come on man.

It was a sprain of the AC joint. It shouldn't take 12 weeks to heal.

That could very well be.

I'm hoping that the use of words like "recuperate" and "heal" in those Tweets were just poor choices of words.

Yep.

He would have been taken no later than where Tannehill went, I have to think.

I feel bad for him.

O.city 02-01-2013 03:47 PM

With lingering questions about arm strength, a lingering shoulder injury aren't going to do him any favors.

fairladyZ 02-01-2013 03:47 PM

i hope so to. only time will tell now though. And i'd honestly rather have him throwing at 100% rather than rushing it.

I dont. His money will be made with the 2nd contract regardless.
